Very good hotel.

Got a great deal on this hotel when we added it to our flight. We are a young couple in our mid 20s and were able to walk to practically everything we wanted to see. The McPherson train station is also very close and we took the train to the airport when we left which was a cool experience and also much much cheaper and faster than a cab or Uber.

部屋が掃除されていなかったのに驚き!

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros:

Great hotel close to the White House

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Awesome staff, close to main tourist attractions.
Cons: Room A/C a little on the loud side
Location: White House, National Mall, several Smithsonian Museums
Had a very enjoyable time at the Loews Madison for a long weekend. We took an early flight into Reagan and arrived at the hotel about 12 pm. We originally intended just to have the hotel hold our bags but, we were able to check in early which was extremely nice. The room itself was very clean and stylishly furnished with historic wallpaper and paintings. The A/C worked well but, was a little on the loud side as others have mentioned. Neither my girlfriend or I had trouble sleeping with it, but if you're a extremely light sleeper I would take that into account. All the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, allowing us to check in early and answering any questions we had. There's a Starbucks onsite which was big plus with the girlfriend. We dined at the onsite restaurant, Rural Society, twice for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast was very good, with a mixture of classic fare and Argentinian themed dishes. Little on the pricey side for breakfast $40-$60 for the two of us but, it was good. Dinner was also good, I would recommend Empanada Tucumana which was excellent. The hotel is about 7 minutes walking to the McPherson Sq Metro Station which will get you to Arlington and the National Mall which was extremely convenient. Overall, we had a great time at Loews Madison and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

コンベンションセンターに近い

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros:

Very Weird Stay

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Location. You can walk to to the white house and the national mall. You need to be willing to walk though.
Cons: I think they don't really know what "reservation" means.
Location: White House, National Mall, The Capitol.
I made the reservation months in advance, and when I got there, they told me that there was only a one-bed room available. I asked what was the point of the reservation and the not very friendly girl at the counter say "the reservation guarantees a place in the hotel and that's the only room available". Under that definition they could've put me in the storage room. The room was nice and the girl did send a rollaway bed. They switched us the next day and all was good on the world again. Until the workers union went to strike and they suspended the cleaning and the restaurant for a few days. Other than those two issues everything was perfect, all the staff (except for that girl the first night) was very friendly.
