"In town for a Senior softball tournament."
Location of hotel was within 3 miles of fields and had all the amenities we could have asked for with the exception of a public hot tub. My understanding was there were rooms that had private ones but since we didn't know or want that extra we had to settle for the pool which was fine.

"An absolute luxury experience"
Morrison House, part of the Kimpton Hotel Group, is one of the best hotels I ever experienced. It's in the heart of historic Alexandria, VA. We pulled up to a driveway next to the hotel, and Jose came out, unloaded our car and brought all the bags to the room. Then he went and parked out car in an underground garage; on street parking is not available. Ashely and Mahason at the front desk were also very helpful and cheerful. The historic city is a great place to visit with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. At 5 PM we returned the Morrison House which was holding its wine hour, with wine and vegetable cheese tapas. That night we had dinner in the hotel, and it was delicious. I consider myself to be a Caesar Salad expert, and the one served ranks at the top, along with the one I make at home. We had planned to just stop on the road on the way back to New York from North Carolina, but the stay at Morrison House added one more glorious day to our vacation

"Great value!"
We had a group of 4 adults and 3 children booking last minute in the DC area over the 4th of July weekend. This was a great price, and had room for all of us. It's an older place but was very clean, the bar/restaurant downstairs had good food and friendly faces. It was a short drive from Old Alexandria and worked perfectly for our needs.

"Everything we needed for our family in DC"
This was a wonderful place to for our family of 4 to stay while visiting Washington DC last week. We have 2 teenagers and the space afforded by the queen suite was perfect. The kids were able to stay up later in the living area watching TV/computers while we retired to the bedroom area. I also appreciated the kitchen area and the set-up of the bathroom (separate sink area outside the bathroom/shower). The location could not have been better. Trader Joe's and the Circulator bus helped keep our stay within budget. I highly recommend this hotel for families.
