Wow - they need a landscaper, and remodeler...

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Cons: Really, the merciful thing would be to tear it down and start over...
Location: Gas station right in the same parking lot...very convenient...LOL!
So...they are building a new lobby - they really should have put the money into the rooms - bathrooms need work - big time....and landscaping - I mean - the 104 degree weather and blacktop everywhere (with nary a tree in sight) was AWWFUL!!! The A/C did work well, and the towels, although of prison quality, were clean... The bathroom floor was scary - the corners held grit and grime going back to the 70's I'm sure... So....pay a cheap price...get a cheap property...

Under construction but has quiet rooms.

Pros: Easy drive to Zion Natl park. Places to eat nearby, quiet, clean room, most of the staff was helpful and friendly
Cons: Looking forward to the new restaurant
Location: Go to Zion Natl Park! Great hiking from super easy to very challenging. Beautiful area
The gentleman that checked us in was excellent. The girl working the front desk later was useless. Couldn't even tell us where vending was. There is a lot of construction going on to update the hotel. They are in the process of adding on a restaurant. However, the hours they work and the level of noise is more than reasonable. We were put in the bldg to the right and it was super quiet. Never heard any noise. Our room was large and very clean.

Smelly room

Posted Apr 6, 2014
The "non-smoking" room smelled badly of smoke. Two doors from us, in a non-pet room, a boxer looked out the window at us. This is just place I would recommend or return to.

Is this a dog kennel or a hotel?

Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: The rooms were clean.
Cons: The hotel needs to change their pet policy.
Location: We went to the Pioneer Park and had a great time. A lot of hiking on the red rocks.
We spent two nights at Quality Inn in Washington, Utah. The first night we heard barking coming from a nearby room. This was close to midnight but the barking stopped after 20-30 minutes. The next morning when we tried to use the shower the faucett handle was loose and eventually fell off. Tried calling the front desk but the hotel room phone does not work. I went down to the lobby and they sent maintenance to our room. He fixed it with promptness and cheerfulness so we could get cleaned up. On the second night the dog started barking at 10:30 pm and continued until 2:30 am. We called the front desk on three separate occasions. After the first call the front desk attendant claimed she walked by the room and did not hear anything. On the second call she again said she said would look into it again. On the third call the front desk said they tried calling us numerous times but we did not answer. We could not answer. We had to remind her that our hotel room phone did not work and we were calling from our cell phone. She told us the owner of the dog was at work and would be back shortly to take care of the barking dog. We spoke to the hotel manager the next morning. He said he could give a refund if we had not booked with Expedia. Therefore, he apologized and told us when we are in the area again we could stay a free night. That is all he could do for us. No thanks!!!! Now I wish I did not go through Expedia.

Spacious Room

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: the rooms were big. The beds said they were queens, but they seemed small.
We were very surprised at how spacious the room was. The bathroom had a dirty washrag in the shower, and some hair clips on the floor. Other than that, we loved the room and would stay here again. We missed breakfast and when we went down at 9:31 they were out of coffee so we cant really say how well the breakfast was.
