The hotel was centrally located.Posted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: We had problems with the key cards entering the room.
Location: The location was central to where we were going.
It was quite busy and too many people hanging out outside of hotel.

You get what you pay for, we got what we needed.Posted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Comfy bed, great pillows, great shower/water pressure. Fridge and microwave in room. Staff was friendly and responsive. Pool was nice. 1 & 1/2 miles from metro & metrobus stop across the street. That being said, there was a large hole in the bathroom wall behind the door covered by wallpaper hung (not plastered) over it, door jamb to bathroom rotted out. Sink in the corner of the room (not in the bathroom) and the light & outlet over it did not work. Stains & tears on chair, carpet also stained & felt 'clammy'. We were offered another room w/ no fridge/microwave (limited budget brought our own food along.) Since we were only there to sleep/shower we declined. Breakfast was fruit, cereal, danish/bread (plain white only)/muffins/bagels (all stale), coffee/tea/juice, and a small 1/2 dollar size sausage patties on biscuit. They put it out at six AM, which was ok for us, but around nine there's not much there. Very limited seating. As stated above, the most important things to us were excellent (bed, pillow, shower), and a fridge for our food.

DisappointedPosted Aug 23, 2013
I would not recommend this hotel. We requested nonsmoking and the room smell of smoke. Our room was in the basement with pipes running around the ceiling of the room. Bathroom was clean.

Won't stay here againPosted Aug 22, 2013
I go by the descriptions and pics when I look for a place. The pictures of this place is very misleading. I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are very tiny. The bathroom is no bigger then a closet. It was definitely not worth the money.

Good value for the money. Breakfast was good, front desk service was good. Some traffic noise from road side rooms, but that was okay. Clean place and apparently well maintained No complaints and worth the money. It's about 1 to 1/12 miles from the Metro so we could get to downtown D.C. easily. Metro is about $4.50 one way peak times, and about half that during off peak, but I could not see accommodation closer than the 8 mile range that was less than $110 a night. There is a bus to the metro and the Metro charges $4.50 for one day parking. After midnight you can drive out of the parking building with no charge. So bear in mind if you want to go to downtown you need to add the cost of transportation and the 44 minute metro ride it, which is no problem and much more convenient that navigating around Washington's traffic.

WILL NEVER STAY AGAINPosted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START! FOUND A HUGE WATER ROACH IN MY BED!! HBO DID NOT WORK! TWO OUT OF FIVE LIGHTS IN MY ROOM DID NOT WORK! RAN OUT OF TOWERS AND WASH CLOTH & HAD TO WAIT HOURS FOR MORE! MAINTENANCE NEVER SHOWED UP, HAD TO GO TO OFFICE TWO HOURS LATER! BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD THE FIRST DAY BUT THE 2ND DAY WAS HORRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL.
