Great hotel close to gwPosted Aug 24, 2014
Accommodating to travelers. We didn't get there till the wee morning hours. Only thing I could complain about is we called for extra towels, they didn't bring them...but we fell asleep. Breakfast was delish! A full variety of things to choose from. Not just muffins and toast but eggs, made to order omelet blueberry pancakes. Worth the extra money to include.

great hotel to see a broad spectrum of washingtonPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Accessibility to Washington, quiet location but near to food outlets if wanted
Location: as above
Great for walking to the white house (about 15 minutes), walking into George Town (15 mins) great for local places to eat near to the hotel and either walking or a 10 minute taxi to Adams Morgan. Staff helpful, room clean and comfy bed, did not eat at hotel not for any reason other than we like to eat at different places.

Not what I expected for the price and advertised pictures.

I apologize you were not pleased with your stay. I wish you would have reached out to let us know before you left so we could have been more hands on as to what you wanted/expected. If you find yourself coming back to Washington DC, let us know and we will make your stay more enjoyable.

Decent HotelPosted Jul 28, 2014
Cons: Needs a pool!!
It's a fairly simple hotel. Way too expensive for what you get. Although the deal I got was with free park and breakfast. No pool really makes this hotel a no go. The staff was very nice and friendly.

DC TripPosted Jul 25, 2014
Cons: $50 per day for parking is way too much
Location: We ate at some great places. Breakfast at Ted's Bulletin was great and we dined at The Hampton and the Old Ebbitt Grill.
We had two couples who were traveling to DC to do the tourist thing. We checked in on a Thursday and left on Monday. At check-in, everything went well and Ronnie was great to work with. Our room was clean and furnished well. After checking in, we went to the lobby bar and met Sandi the bartender who was outstanding. She worked 3 of the 4 nights of our stay and she made the experience better. Since we didn't know the area, I went to the concierge, Ida, who was again great to work with. She made reservations and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. So, while we liked the hotel, the staff really made the difference. This is a very nice hotel in a good location. It's probably a cab ride to get to the mall, but you can make the walk from the White House.

Good hotel will stay again when in DCPosted Jul 21, 2014
Had a great stay. Clean, quite, comfortable and hotel staff was great. Hotel is a little far for walking with young children to monuments and museums. We figured out that the cabs were cheaper than the metro. We packaged the valent, breakfast and wifi into the rate which was a great value for us. We will stay here again next time in DC.

Lovely hotel, great location.Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: The hotel was very tastefully decorated and furnished. It's in a good location and is reasonably priced.
Cons: It would be helpful if they offered free wi-fi, which most hotels do these day.
My son and I had a great experience here. The hotel is in a good location, near embassy row. We felt safe walking around at night. In addition it's close to the metro, which is very convenient for getting around D.C. The lobby and bar/eating area are very nicely decorated and had a nice intimate atmosphere. Compared to some of the other hotels in the area, it was reasonably priced.

Very nice staffPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: I liked the staff.
Location: It was not in the best location but the hotel itself was good and I would stay there again,
The room was nice, but smaller than most rooms. The staff was very nice and so helpful, especially the lady from Ethiopia who helped us everyday with directions and things to do. One guy at the front desk saw how I was so hot and sweating from walking that he offered me a bottle of water. It was in a fairly good location, but we had to walk everyday a good way.
