“Definitely would stay here again”
Wonderful hotel. Very accomodating. It was convenient and had easy access to the sights of Washington. Verizon Center was within eashy walking distance. When I go to Washington again, I will definitely stay at the Renaissance Downtown.
“Very good!”
Perfect location close to museums. Very nice modern look. Only issue is that our room wasn't cleaned the day after our first night.
“Great hotel and excellent location.”
Excellent hotel.
“Great hotel in DC”
Everything including the price was great. Was able to check in early and enjoy DC while working. Great lounge and sports bar.
“Fun Times in DC”
The Renaissance Hotel is a great place to stay. Great staff, contemporary atmosphere, and decent distance from the best of DC's attractions.
“Great Hotel in DC for its price”
We just returned from our first family trip to DC and stayed at the Renaissance Hotel. The staff was prompt and helpful, with all hotel services and even with calling a cab for you if needed. the location was right within walking distances of major tourist spots. overall good hotel experience and would definitely recommend it to others.
“Qualified review”
The hotel is well located with many restaurant/shopping options nearby and the Metro within two blocks. The only problem was that the hotel has a large central atrium and about half of the rooms look out onto the atrium where the music was playing at too high a volume for too late into the night. A related problem was that the room I stayed had one of those connecting doors to another room and I could hear the conversations in the other room. If I stay at the hotel again, I'd ask for a room facing away from the atrium and one that has no connecting door.
“great place to stay”
great stay
“Good value”
The price was very reasonable, the location was excellent and the bed slept great. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey but was delicious.
