“Luxury, comfort and location”

I attended a five day conference at this hotel. The staff was professional and attentive when needed. My room was very comfortable. My only complaint was with the television. I could not figure out how to get regular programming as they had an internet system that required many interactions with the remote; I just gave up after trying for several minutes to watch free TV. I think if I wanted to rent a movie at a ridiculous charge, that would have more easily been done. As far as location, there were many excellent restaurants within a few blocks and the hotel is walking distance to major museums. I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant, but the lunches I had were fine, if not exciting. The Martini at the bar was steeply priced at $12. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

“Can't wait to go back”

Rooms were very clean, service was great. Close to many restaurants and convention center. Subway was a couple of blocks away. Internet access was great in the spacious lobby.

“Great Value”

We have been traveling to Washington, DC for the past 10 years, and our stay at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel was a great value and a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable.Tthe staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for restuarants and visiting the sites downtown. And the rate for the room was very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again!

“Great Hotel”

This hotel was within walking distance of the National Mall, Ford's Theatre, the Spy Museum, and great restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was nice. The hotel also had a Starbucks, snack shop, and a gift shop inside. The only drawback was that there was no pool for my children to swim in, which is also something they look foward to when staying in a hotel.

“Beautiful Hotel!”

This hotel was selected for its awesome location. We were in DC for the entire week with our grandson (he's 11). The staff at the Renaissance were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

“Lovely place with courteous and accommodating staff”

When I checked in, the room they gave me was on a floor that was having doors and trim painted. I called the front desk and they immediately switched the room for me, and even upgraded me without charge. THAT'S good customer service.

“Great hotel and location!”

The Renaissance was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly, the room was beautiful, and the location was great. Chinatown is right around the corner. I easily walked to the national mall and lots of the other touristy attractions nearby. I would definitely stay there again!
