I liked the location of the hotel, close to the freeways and the Metro. The bed was a little too soft for me. The water smelled really weird. The breakfast had a wide selection of food.

Nice hotel for family of 4

Posted Mar 30, 2015
We stayed for a weekend to visit DC with our 6 and 4 year olds. Free breakfast in the morning was convenient. We parked for $20 in the hotel's connected underground garage. It was easy to drive into DC. We didn't use the metro on this trip, so I can't give feedback about the use of the hotel shuttle bus.

Nice hotel & area

Excellent experience. The only negative part is that the hotel does not have a restaurant.

Nice hotel for extended stay

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Our room was in great condition - loved the kitchenette. The breakfast bar was a bonus and the staff was accommodating.
Cons: The water in our shower never got past Luke-warm and we were charged for parking that we didn't use.
Location: The location is great - close to Old Town Alexandria's shops and restaurants. The AMC Hoffman theatre is right across the street.
We had an overall average-good experience. The hotel is nice - a little dusty at the moment with some construction going on near the lobby.

Wonderful Hotel

Posted Jan 28, 2015
The hotel was located close to Old Towne and the use of the shuttle was very useful in getting places. The hotel was under construction of a new breakfast area the first two days of our stay but we were able to be the first to use the new area on the third day. It was fantastic. Well thought out! The rooms were very comfortable and even though located close to the metro, you could not hear the noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Barry needs to retrain the other person not to blast the spanish music while he has clients in the vehicle, better yet get rid of him and hire a new
Location: Close to all
Wonderful place to lay your head. Extended stay is okay too, kitchens in the rooms. Just hope you get Barry for your shuttle. in to downtown.

Nice place

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Pros: Just about everything, except what was mentioned above.
Cons: Get a new driver or have Barry retrain the other one.
Location: Old town Alexandria. Close to D.C.
Wonderful hotel to stay at with family. Large rooms, with kitchen area. A little off the beaten path but a shuttle ride to old town/downtown Alexandria only took about 10 mins. Barry was awesome knew lots of trivia for the area. The other driver wouldn't even speak to you, just turned up the Spanish music and said thanks for tipping before he stopped the van. The Breakfast was every morning was good the kitchen staff were very pleasant. The evening Social from Monday through Thursday was more than a surprise with good food again and free wine. The construction wasn't much of a bother never started work before 8 am and finished by 5.
