“My favorite stay”

I come to the Washington DC area every two weeks and this is where I would like to stay now each time I come. I got a good deal from Expedia and will be checking frequently in the future in hopes that I can find another such deal for this hotel. Hotel also had a great full breakfast for guests.

Positives - fantastic free full breakfast included for everyone - everything from waffles to bacon and eggs, great area - easy walk to metro, restaurants, movie theater, etc., pets allowed, suite style rooms with full kitchenette & living area in addition to bedroom & bath - service is great, they will even do shopping for you - happy hour with free food most nights. Only Negative - parking is not included, but even valet parking was reasonable.

Residence Inn was great. I stayed for a weekend with my daughter and granddaughter and we were very comfortable. Service at desk and valet were quick and accurate

The Residence Inn by Marriott Bethesda Downtown had a very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. We were greeted with a smile and verbal welcome upon our arrival. Everytime we left the hotel the staff spoke to us and welcomed back upon our return. We weren't familiar with the area and the staff was great with directions and with suggestions on how to get to where we were going.

Well-designed, generously sized rooms, fantastic interior decoration, a block and a half from the metro. Very pleased with our experience.

“Great bargain, especially for families”

Very friendly and responsive service. Suites are not elegant but are very attractive and comfortable. Free full, hot breakfast every morning, free Washington Post available, and 4 days per week (M-Th) they offer a free light evening meal or dessert bar. I traveled alone but can see this would be hard to beat economically for family travel. Hotel is half a block from the Metro (so DC sights are easily and economically accessible) and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping, Roundhouse Theatre, 2 movie complexes, etc. I would strongly recommend this hotel, and I have stayed in many in the DC area.

Excellent Staff, Great Location, convenient to Bethesda Metro Station and very nice breakfast buffet included in the price.

everything was perfect. great location close to metro. clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. great breakfast --- and 'social hour' which is easily dinner.

“Great value”

Felt like it was a great value. Very quiet and comfortable room. I thought wireless was free, but only for 24 hours so I was a little disappointed with that. There was quite an extensive assortment of breakfast choices. They did offer food in the evening but it was quite limited. I would highly recommend this hotel and will return on my next visit.
