Last minute booking but was a wonderful stay. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints.

This complex consists of several detached buildings. The building that housed our hotel room absolutely reeked and the room itself was way over sanitized to mask the nasty smell. Had we not checked-in late and exhausted, we would've demanded another room. Also, we were charged a hefty charge for 1 dog…this was neither explained during the reservation or check-in process. We've stayed in a number of Residence Inns throughout the country and have never been charged such a steep fee. Perhaps this should be a refundable deposit instead of a steep surcharge for responsible dog owners? Clearly, we should've stayed at a fresh 4-5 star hotel that doesn't charge a pet fee.

Looked at some other hotels in the area. We would never stay anywhere else when in Fairfax. Will look for Residence Inns in other cities.

Get Directions! Very hard to find

The hotel is nice - clean, great breakfast, nice pool and facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The problem is the location, and it's a significant issue.I arrived at night, after dark, driving in frome Dulles. Following my GPS directions, I arrived at the address and there was no indication of a hotel anywhere. I continued on and found myself back on the expressway, adding another 20 minutes to the trip as I found the next exit and circled back. I finally found the hotel after spotting a very small sign that was part of a shopping center entrance billboard, mixed in with several others. To get to the hotel, you need to turn down a side road (not the road listed as the address of the hotel), and drive through a restaurant parking lot. Even then, there is no obvious office, just a small sign on a door that looks like several other doors. The employee who checked me in said that they get a lot of complaints and calls from lost guests. Crazy!
