I’ve stayed at a fair number of hotels but the staff here were well above par. Every single interaction from the ladies at the breakfast buffet to the hotel manager was an absolute pleasure. There is some remodeling happening, but the lobby and second floor were great and the floor we stayed on had just been fully renovated so it was all fresh and shiny. I would definitely stay here again.

Disgusting bed
The room was small but what was disturbing was the pull out sofa bed was stained and disgusting. When I called the front desk and told them they sent up a blanket to cover it. This was unacceptable and I requested a room change to get an acceptable bed for my kids. I would not recommend staying here. Also there was an issue with the water.

Noisy fridge in room. Totally unusable wi-fi. When i needed to do some banking for the flight home, staff were unable/unwilling to allow use of hotel computer. Totally uncooperative!

Hotel was going through renovations and we were not aware till right before our visit. Room was worn and missing extra linen. Breakfast was good but lines were overwhelming. They did a great job just couldn’t keep up. No seating so decided to eat elsewhere.

I want to say front desk staff was amazing this review is not for them or the room cleaners. This review is based on the parking fee and reconstruction we could not shower no water came out due to a leak and no one told us. my toilet ran all night long the bed is right at the door did not make me feel safe nor was there enough space. the breakfast was not good at all watered down orange juice it almost felt like we were eating at a nursing facility. the parking fee is 54.00 a night! And if you can’t do that you have to pay by parking meter and move your car at 7 am ! This is not acceptable

Exactly what we needed.
The service and hospitality was super nice. The desk staff had great smiles and personality. The first day had water issues due to renovation but they were very up front about the issue and wanted do what they could to make it ok until water was back on. And the room is SUPER SPACIOUS, my fellow traveler has food related allergies and we were able to make a decent steak dinner in the big pot and rice in the microwave. This was exactly what we needed.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean. However, there was a problem with the water. It was shut off when I arrive at 10pm and the following morning the water was not hot.

Great property, great stay! Recommend to all looking to be close to the National Mall, it was within a mile or two walking distance. if you have a rental make sure you check clearance since parking is in a garage.
