Wonderful experience!

Pros: The staff goes above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful!
Cons: It would be helpful to have a sheet of information about the shuttle and the Metro system.
Location: It's about a seven minute walk to a grocery store, drug store, family restaurant (TJ's).
Although our hotel was a distance out from Washington, DC, we enjoyed our stay there immensely! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was beautiful and very clean. The room was reasonably quiet and the beds were wonderfully luxurious. Roomy, immaculate bathroom. The hotel provides a shuttle to the Metro line, a 15 minute ride (if the traffic is light). This shuttle ride can be arranged to accommodate your schedule, both to and from the Metro. Back at the hotel, the dining room food was very, very good. Service was a little slow, but friendly. We selected this hotel as part of an Expedia trip, combining our flight and hotel, and would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel lacks a lot of basics

Don't be fooled into thinking this is 2015 in the United States. They have WiFi but apparently you have to be lucky enough to get the right person to check you into the hotel to get the password. After I booked I realized there could be a fee associated with getting wifi. I explicitly asked the lady that checked me in about WiFi, she said that the hotel has WiFi but didn't give me the password. I called down later and the man that picked up was nice enough to give me the password. I don't know if they enforce charging people for the WiFi, if that is the case you may just want to find another hotel. Also there was no fridge in the room, plan accordingly. I also had an issue about housekeeping, I had left my room pretty earlier in the morning to return about 530 pm to an uncleaned room, I had to to inform the front desk. If you are about to have a long day and wish to come to a room refreshed with clean towels, ask them to clean it on your way out.

I was looking for a nice, clean, affordable hotel with free parking for a one-night stay within 30 minutes of Washington, DC. I got exactly what I was looking for. Very pleased.

Hotel near end of DC metro with free shuttle

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend Cherry Blossom Festival. One day housekeeping didn't get to our room. We stayed in club level room and the breakfasts and evening snacks were a big plus. The bed was very comfortable.

Great hotel for an excellent price

Location: Great access to Washington DC for college visits
A very helpful and professional staff greeted us. The room was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint would be that the walls are very thin. We had neighbors that were quite loud late at night and early the next morning.

Clean and Comfy

Hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. When we needed more towels, they were brought up immediately. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Not bad. Not many dining options in the area so had to rely on hotel food which was decent, not great.
