Pros: Decor, pillow menu and comfortable bed.
Cons: I could see the light all around the entry door to our room showing all the gaps which, in turn, helped let in some of the hallway noise.
Location: Right in the middle of everything-great location!
Stayed there for three nights. We arrived at 11:00 and they were able to let us in our room. We loved the room decor. Bathroom a tiny bit small but no big deal. The rooftop access was another perk. The entire hotel looks brand new inside and looks great. We ate at the Art and Soul and also had room service. The meals were very good and the service was excellent. I think the only problem we had was the noise from the firehouse next door but that was only twice we heard the sirens at night during our 3 night stay. Would definitely stay again. We also tried three of the pillows from the hotel menu---helped us get a great sleep!

Pros: The food and the staff.
Cons: The Gift shop was in an obscure place and I had to search for it. When I did find it, the staff there were equally attentive and kind.
Location: I was a little concerned when I arrived late at night and seen a lot of people sitting around, not connectected w/hotel. But I didn't have to worry.
I enjoyed my stay at the Liaison because the staff made me feel welcomed. I arrived late Sunday night and I needed to eat something. The bar was open and they provided me with the late supper list and I chose seafood. It was the right thing to order and it was delicious as well. I stayed for 5 nights and ate 3 meals at the restaurant. The meals were excellent and the staff were quite attentive. Their care and attention, made me feel special and I was able to relax and unwind. This has been the first time in several years that I was able to take some time for myself, attend my training and be treated like I was special. My training ended early on Thursday and I had the option to leave, but chose to stay the nights that I had paid for and it was worth it. I left Washington DC on a great note. Thanks, again Liaison for making me feel welcomed and safe.

A nice Hotel in D.C.

Pros: The staff
Cons: Noise from other rooms
Location: The location was good for us because we used the subway and travelled by train to New York City at the end of our stay.
Hotel was located in a great place, lots of restaurants and café in the area. Very close to the Capitol building and Union station and subway trains. The Hotel Restaurant was very nice and hotel and restaurant staff were great and very helpful. The Hotel room was a little noisy.

Pros: the great location
Cons: the wireless internet fee of $13 per day per device to get connected in your room. However the wireless internet in the lobby is free.
Excellent location - walking distance to the train station, Capital Hill, the monuments and many Museums. The rooms are nicely finished and quite spacious. It was warm when we were there and the swimming pool on the roof was a great place to cool off.

Good location but noisy
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise
Location: Within walking distance to the Capitol building, Union Station and museums
The room walls are paper thin, we can hear loud talking through both walls on each side. I didn't get a single good nights rest for the 3 nights we stayed because of the noise. That's probably why they supply you with earplugs in the night stands. The location of the hotel is convenient to Union Station, Capitol and museum mall area.
