Weekend get awayPosted Mar 3, 2014
Location: Walking distance to a lot of attractions, Big Bus Tour bus stop, walking distance to Union Station to catch metro to go any where else.
We enjoyed our stay at the Liasion very much. Everyone was very professional and courteous and our room was very comfortable. The location was central to everything and we would definitely stay there again.

Weekend away for concertPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: The rate was great and the location is walking distance to a lot of things.
Cons: The bed was very firm and seemed to hold in heat. I ended up sweating both nights of our stay.
Location: It is near the National Mall, walking distance to the Verizon Center and many restaurants and bars. There is a Starbucks right on the corner.
The room was a little warm but very nice. I saw a previous review about the tv channels being messed up, I would agree. But we weren't really sitting in the hotel and watching tv. There is a fire station right next to the hotel which I didn't see before. We were actually placed on the fire station side of the hotel. Being woken by blaring sirens in the middle of the night was unexpected and a little alarming. All of the staff were nice though some were difficult to understand.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good bar attached to the hotel and the waitress mixed me a great cocktail to order. Has the biggest beds I've ever slept in!

Good time in our nation's capital.Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Delighted with attractive, comfortable room and lobby. Fine restaurant. Well-informed, cheerful and patient concierge desk.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Tourist types, we choose for location--2 blocks Union Station, near National Mall and Capitol. Added benefit, on tour bus line.
We flew in from Texas for the Smithsonian and a concert at the National Cathedral. Neither of us were familiar with Washington, D.C.

Ideal location, good service.Posted Feb 25, 2014
Have stayed here twice in the last few years, both times have been very positive experiences. The hotel's location is ideal -- 5 mins' walk from union station, 10 mins from the Mall and the museums. Service is great too -- checked in at noon, was able to get to room right away. Restaurant is fantastic and a perfect place for a drink or a meal. Highly recommended for the price.

No closetPosted Feb 20, 2014
Cons: One weird thing: the place had no closet. No iron or ironing board. So I get there, thinking I would iron my wrinkled clothes and... nothing. Call
Decent place. Sort of hip. Good location if you arrive on Amtrak, fairly short walk. Not the closest hotel to Union Station, but not far.
