“No complaints!”
Nice room, perfect location, reasonable price... no complaints!
“Great hotel”
Clean hotel, great guest service.
“Highly Recommended”
Convenient location only $16 "taxi ride" from DCA airport.
“Got a good deal”
I probably wouldn't have stayed here if I hadn't gotten an Expedia deal, but it was a nice hotel with a good location. The free wireless internet was a plus. I basically only used the hotel for sleeping, so I don't know much about the amenities, but I was very satisfied with my stay. The beds were comfortable and the room clean and inviting. There is a Whole Foods nearby that I picked up dinner at one night, so that was very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.
“Very pleased!”
Very friendly employees; overall great service and no complaints with the room. There were no washclothes - which was peculiar - but other than that, we were very pleased.
“convenient location”
The madison is within walking distance of the metro, smithsonian, whie house and restraunts.
“Need better housekeeping”
While the hotel is old and dated, it really misses the mark with its lack of clean rooms and linens. Housekeeping is just not up to the job and management needs to be ore responsive/
“great hotel, location is central”
The hotel is conveniently located to most of the historical sites (White House, etc...) but if you're up to it, you can also walk to the U-street areas and Adam's Morgan. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is a plus. I did not like that breakfast was not included and on top of that, there are not many restaurants immediately within the area, but as I mentioned, you can walk to other places.
“Convenient location”
The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are comfortable except for the AC which can get noisy at night. It has a certain quaint charm while being a functional, business hotel.
“Above average”
As a first time visitor to D.C., I wanted a hotel within walking distance to everything. And I wasn't planning on spending any time in the room. So, this hotel was just right. Nothing too fancy, no view, and not sure if the AC was working properly... But, friendly and helpful staff.
