Nice hotel, close to Metro line.

Posted Dec 2, 2014
The staff were very personable and helpful with local activities and convenient services. Cool, low-key happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Available TV stations were abysmal.

Nice spot close to dupont, adams morgan, and U street. small and quiet. everything was great except the heat - they keep it super warm in the winter. way too hot. other than that it was a great place to stay.

Excellent value for the money

Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Helpfulness of staff, friendliness of other guests, value for money
Cons: Elevator needs some TLC, tiny rooms shouldn't have four-poster beds and hassocks, the coffee makers were L'espresso machines but the coffee is awful
Location: don't know - didn't stay in the area near hotel.
Everything about this hotel is small - the lobby, the rooms (my single queen was TINY), the staff - and here and there are signs that some things haven't been updated in a while. Nevertheless, the staff was amazing, the amenities were lovely, and everything was sparkling clean.

Cute boutique hotel

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Staffing and breakfast were nice. It was also great to be able to open the windows for fresh air.
Cons: The hotel was a little noisy between the rooms
Location: The location is a bit away from the Metro, but not to far from restaurants.
This hotel is a nice change from the larger chain hotels in the near area. The staff were friendly and the rooms adequate, but a little noisy. A continental breakfast is available and WIFI worked well.

European sytle hotel

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Close to my meeting at the Marriott. All marble bathroom, balcony overlooking quiet street. Right near Dupont Circle and subway.
Cons: A microwave somewhere would have been nice.
Location: Uptown DC. THe Zoo. Great restaurants nearby. Mintwood, Ripple, Tryst.
Friendly place with wine and cheese at 5PM! Staff very helpful. Nice lounge area.
