Excellent all around. Wonderful reception, they took the extra effort to reactivate an expired Starwood account

Nice but not nice enough...

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Location. Very friendly and knowledgeable concierge Jeff (thanks Jeff - you were great!!)
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms.
The hotel is in a nice spot between Foggy Bottom and Georgetown so about four blocks walk to the restaurant district. My only concerns were with the state of the room we had. The bed sheets had holes in them, there was a persistent little cockroach who shared our room (in winter in DC???), the TV didn't work, nor did the room lamp. The electrical issues were easily sorted out but for the money we spent and the location/name on the side of the building I would have expected more. DC is a busy market and I guess you don't need to impress your customers so much?? I would probably not stay here again. That being said I did book another Westin in Texas for the journey home and it was great!

Feedback is our best opportunity to hear the voice of the customer, and to learn the areas in which we can improve our service. Day in Washington

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Clean and a very helpful staff
Cons: The breakfast staff should be shown how to take care people that go there.
Location: It is not far from the National Mall, you can walk. There are great shops in Georgetown and lots of great restaurants nearby as well.
The hotel was on the corner, we used valet parking it was very pleasant and they were very careful with my car. The staff was very helpful. We couldn't use the elevator without a key, it made you feel safe. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast I had with my wife there. I don't mind paying $50 dollars but it was terrible, over cooked and cold. I had to send it back. When we got there we had to wait 15 minutes before I had to ask for a menu. They were setting tables never asked if we wanted coffee. There were only two other couples at tables and one party of three. The hotel was great but DON,T eat there. The bar down stairs was very nice as well they made a nice Cosmo.

Dear Billy, Thank you for sharing feedback about your stay at the Westin Georgetown! While we're delighted that you enjoyed our convenient Georgetown access, we're disappointed that your restaurant breakfast did not meet your expectations. This does not represent the service we are capable of delivering to our guests on a daily basis, and so we work to revise and improve our menu based on guest comments like yours. Our goal is for our guests to leave feeling renewed and better than when they arrived and I’m confident that you will experience this on your next visit.

Fine Hotel

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location, excellent value
Location: Walking distance to Georgetown
Excellent service; everyone I encountered was eager to help and very pleasant. The room was fine--a bit cookie cutter, but comfortable bed, great bathroom (nice tub!)

Wonderful hotel. Very friendly staff.

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest I have seen in a long time, and the elevators were always fast. Little things matter.
Cons: The food and fridge were "do not touch" or you will be charged. This is an annoying system.
The staff was great. Granting us a late checkout was a wonderful benefit.

Pleasantly surprised to find the facilities clean and updated and an added bonus to opt out of house cleaning's daily interruption. Bathroom has a separate toilet room and a large soaker tub in addition to the rainfall shower. Double vanity would have been nice. Restaurant fare and wine selection was average but there are many good choices nearby within ~.5 mile walk like Eno wine bar, Boqueria and Restaurant Nora.
