Reasonably priced, close to downtownPosted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, walking distance to downtown
Cons: All the basics were covered. Staff was very attentive.
Location: Plenty of restaurants around the motel. King St. bars/nightlife is 1/2 mile walk.
In D.C. for son's wedding and required one night stay in Alexandria. This motel was perfect for our needs.

Not enough towels. A little overpriced thru Expedia. An odd little sign when checking in said only 10 minutes were allowed to change your mind on the room after checking in. Location was good. Employees were very nice. Room was clean. Beds were very comfy.

Old-school motel, with great staffPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: Proximity to metro. Staff. Large, comfortable bed.
Cons: Old tube-style TV had greenish cast to picture, but we weren't there to watch TV.
We stayed 5 nights, while spouse attended conference in Crystal City and I was a tourist. Good budget choice. Easy access to National Airport. 10-15 minute walk to Metro; slightly more to King St. attractions. Grocery stores (including Trader Joe's) 2 blocks away. WiFi signal strong and reliable. Coffee-maker is Keurig style (which we didn't use - profound environmental objections), and mini-fridge and mini-microwave were fine.

Ok Hotel ... Bit old but convenientPosted May 10, 2015
Was a bit old and worn our but clean and functional hotel ... Not far to the station for trips to DC ... if you on a budget is certainly ok.

nice lower priced accommodationPosted May 3, 2015
Cons: put in queen beds to replace double beds
This is the second time that we have stayed here. Both times we found the location and price appealing and the value very good. The room was relatively small compared to pricier locations but was big enough to sleep in.

Eh, it wasn't great. Old rooms. Old bedding. No bugs, so that was nice.

Motel with great wifiPosted Apr 10, 2013
This hotel was exactly what my partner and I wanted. Somewhere for the budget conscious traveller only a 10 minute metro ride or drive from the centre of DC. Although this is only a two star motel, the wifi was better than most 5 start hotels we've stayed in and is an important service for us. We had a few drain problems but they were quickly sorted out by our friendly hosts. Alexandria town is great also. Would recommend

Friendly, good value motel.Posted Mar 18, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff and location.
Location: Good location, very well placed for Braddock Road metro station.
Wonderful little motel, will be my go-to place next time I'm in Alexandria. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Free wifi is really convenient, and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A ten minute walk from Braddock Road metro, which in itself is only one stop from National airport, and fifteen minute from Alexandria's main shopping area, the motel is well sited.
