古過ぎるホテル

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros:

The room was clean. The limited parking was a little bit of an issue for such a busy weekend but overall it was a positive experience.

Great location, horrible hotel.

I only stayed 1-night and that was too long. The hotel was old, outdated & most importantly dirty. NEVER again.

Room cleaning and comfort

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Very good location.
Cons: To maintain a better condition of the room
Location: Close to the Old Town - close to the Metro station.
We asked for a non smoking room. According with sign on the door, it was a non smoking room, however, room smells tobacco strongly. It generates an allergic reaction during night and woke up with sever congestion. Next day we requested to change room which was a non smoking room. We noticed the condition of the bathroom was deplored with old rust in the tub and lavatory.

Good for the price you pay

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: cheap, clean, you get what you pay for
Cons: I know it is not possible, but maybe you can rebuild a new hotel there, the location is good to be honest
Location: see above
This is definitely the cheapest hotel around metro station i can find near DC area, you pay what you get. The room is small but clean, the free breakfast is nothing but some coffee, but there is a starbucks across the street where you can hear retired politicians talking about politics :). There is a 10min walk to the metro station where you can easily get to DC downtown area or Dupton circle, unfortunately the metro does not go to Georgetown, where you have to take a bus or cab. Another 10min walk towards downtown Alexandria, there are lots of fun shops and restaurants you can explore after you are tired spending all day exploring DC, the food is decent and the souvenir stores are cute as well. This is a safe area, except the 10min walk to the metro station is sketchy, however, the whole neighborhood seems clean and decent. Overall, if you are looking for cheap hotel, I would recommend it.

Pros: nothing
Cons: Everything in the room. Bedding, lamps, decor, bathroom, etc.
Location: Location is excellent near King Street and easy access to DC
Hotel is badly in need of upgrade. It;s sad that in so nice an area the owners do not make a small investment to upgrade the hotel and would rather leave it in such poor condition
