Built in 1917, the historic hotel has hosted presidents, politicians, and celebrities. It is where Elvis met President Nixon and where Presidents Reagan and Clinton attended balls. Reinvented as W Washington D.C. in 2009, the Beaux Arts hotel's classic features have been infused with bold, contemporary design.
The rooftop lounge and terrace serves panoramic views of the White House and National Mall along with cocktails and light fare. The Living Room, once the hotel lobby, is now a lounge-style bar with complimentary wireless Internet access. The original elegant details have been maintained in the steakhouse dining room.
After a workout in the fitness center, guests can indulge in a treatment at Bliss Spa, a full-service day spa. The 24-hour business center includes computer workstations, laptops, printers, fax machines, audiovisual equipment, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).
