The hotel lacks respect to its guests.Posted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: What I liked, removed it with this bad experience.
Cons: Improve service to customers.
The hotel takes the chek out before the day of departure. One day I got to my room at night and would not let me enter the room, One day I got to my room at night and would not let me enter the room the concerge told me he had to pay the internet that he had purchased. if you do not pay the internet that night I can not sleep the room. I was with my 4 year old daughter.

Great hotel right in Dupont CirclePosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: The location is great, and it's a huge hotel. Well equipped with a gym, bar, restaurant, conference facilities etc.
Cons: Better communication with Housekeeping perhaps, and food could be served later. Free in-room wifi would be nice too. And quality checks on the rooms
Location: Great location for Dupont Circle and the Metro, about $15 cab ride from Union Station. Lots of bars and restaurants, coffee shops etc nearby.
I love this hotel and stay here every time I visit DC due to it's great staff, facilities and high standards. I must say, I was disappointed this time though. I was here about 6 weeks ago and everything was great, so I think I must have just gotten one of the poorly-maintained rooms. The lamp was cracked, one of the bathroom drawers wouldn't close, the shower handle wouldn't turn properly, and the bathroom door jammed if it was closed fully (as one of my children found out when she got stuck). The front desk also insisted that the bar downstairs served food until 12:30am, even though both myself and another guest were both turned away just after 11pm. My daughter spilled food on the bed and I had to call Housekeeping three times before someone came to change it. That said, the staff here are incredibly helpful, and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The location is perfect for people visiting Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, and the Metro is close by. The gym, bar, restaurant etc are all great quality and I've always had great experiences here prior.

Nice hotel in great neighborhoodPosted Apr 19, 2014
Fast checkin process, nice staff, good facilities, restaurants. Very expensive parking in the hotel. I parked in the street but I had to remove the car at 8 in the morning ( most of the paces you need to remove the car by 7).

At $300 per night, this place should let customers use gym and internet for free. hate being nickled and dimed.

Nice hotelPosted Apr 15, 2014
The hotel was clean and had friendly staff. It was convenient to attractions and our check in and out was easy. The only negative was that the pool is outdoors only and opens may1sr.

Fit the Need PerfectlyPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel on Connecticut Avenue and the availability of shuttle service to the three airports in the area.
Cons: The cappuccino served at breakfast was so tasteless that the waitress got me a good cup from "The Coffee Bean," a shop in the hotel lobby.
Location: The National Zoo is farther north on Connecticut Avenue. DuPont Circle, with many commercial establishments, is to the south.
I chose this hotel because it was the venue for a large dinner gala that I was attending on a Saturday evening and I could spend the night there without having to travel through Washington, D.C., at a late hour. Although the group sponsoring the event had arranged special rates for its guests, I got a better one through Expedia.

Excellent, in spite of pending blizzardPosted Mar 18, 2014
Cons: Hotel restaurants are a little pricey.
Location: Hop on, hop off bus stops at the Washington Hilton giving guests access to all city landmarks and points of interest.
We had to cut our vacation short due to severe weather approaching. The hotel staff as well as Expedia worked hard to accommodate our changing travel plans. Overall, an excellent hotel, highly recommend!
