“Not impressed”
Nice location, the hotel is in good condition but not a good service and not clean.
“Best Location in DC”
A nice hotel in a very good location but a bit expensive according to service
“Perfect place for DC Visit”
This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you are going to see the sights in DC! We have 3 boys - 7,9,11 and we all fit in one room. The deal to include breakfast for two adults and kids free was totally worth it - it cost us $20 for all of us to eat at the amazing buffett vs. the $65 it would have cost! The location is the best part - the metro station is right outside the hotel and it is a hub, so you can get directly to almost any stop you will need, including Arlington. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone wanting a nice hotel in a central location!!
“Impressed”
The hotel's location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just noticed that the mattress is a little bit old for the price I have paid.
“great for DC”
The location next to the Metro Center is a great asset. the resturant is over priced but the food is good. The waiters need more training in the field of checking in on the guests but thats livable
“Nice Stay”
This hotel is centrally located and there is a Metro stop 2 blocks away; a very convenient commute to and from the airport. I checked in early and the only room w/a king size bed was a room for those w/special needs. Because of this the room and bathroom were very spacious. But there was no easy chair and ottoman and table, which is standard in most upscale hotels now. The desk chair was fabric with very ugly, unsightly stains all over the seat-yuck and the desk furniture was outdated. The bed was very cofortable if a litte too firm, but nice. Front desk, housekeeping, and bell hop services were all very good. But everytime I needed to talk to a concierge there was no one at the desk and had to wait. The workout facility was well appointed with nice machines, free weights, even a smith machine and olympic bar! All in all a respecable up scale hotel with just a few minor problems/inconveniences.
“Good price”
I got a good rate for an excelent hotel.
“close to travelling site”
The hotel is very close to many travelling sites. You can walk from the hotel to both lincoln monument and United States Capitol. The distance is not that close, but it is acceptable.
“visit Washington DC”
I love this hotel for its location. Complementary internet will be a plus
“Exceeded our expectations”
We spent only one night in the Washington Marriott, and we actually came in pretty late and left rather early so didn't get to use the amenities nor didn't we have much interaction with the staff. Nevertheless, the room was good, very comfortable, spacious and clean. The only thing is that it had no view but we didn't really care. For breakfast we got a deal for $20 each + kids eat free. I thought it's going to be disappointing, as things usually are with deals but I have to say - it was great! so generous! huge variety, crayons and a coloring page for the kids... that's all i can ask for. Location was good for the price, wish it was closer to all the attractions - it's definitely a walking distance but we visited D.C is such a humid day that this 10 minute walk from the mall was tough.
