Good central hotel

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Staff and cleanliness.
Location: Museums and walks etc
Hotel good, unfortunately guests not so! Noisy bus party started banging doors and chatting in the corridors at 4 am and carried on until they left at 7am. Bus driver didn't help by starting the coach at 6am and left the engine running for quite some time.

Great place

Posted Sep 4, 2014
This is a very pleasant hotel, right on the river, and a short walk to the main sights in downtown. For example, it's about a 5 minute walk to the Viking Tower. The room was bright, nicely appointed and in good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bar and dining room on site. Parking is secure and free. All up, a good location.

The Waterford Marina

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Decent sized room, shame there's no air con or a fan as it was stuffy so difficult to sleep. The window didn't open enough to let any breeze in.

Good value & quality

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Clean, secure supplying all that u need
Cons: Training of breakfast staff with better hygiene service & more pleasant welcoming manner
Location: Good location in that its very near town centre, Waterford Crystal factory (tour a must) & most attractions, shopping & dining in walking distance
Staff were helpful & obliging. Room was large, quiet, clean & well equipped. Room was replenished & serviced very well each morning while I was at breakfast so cleaners never disturbed you. Breakfast was plentiful & lots of choice.(the bacon was always undercooked & the eggs over cooked unfortunately). Nice location near Suir river so views of river & swans at breakfast however at back of hotel is housing estate which at times got a little rowdy at night as did pup across the road. Good stay all in all & big bonus of undercover security parking which you kind of need in that area. Just leave your car there safe as u easily explore the city just around the corner with its mix of modern & medieval atmosphere.

Waterford Marina Hotel

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Large rooms
Location: Waterford seemed to be in need of a lift. Compares badly to Cork.
Excellent room. Easy to locate the hotel and close to the central area.

Fine overnight stay

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Room rate and room size.
Cons: The Wifi signal was weak in our room Though this is a common problem that we had in many hotels in Ireland & Scotland
Location: The hotel is near the downtown area, but a bit of a walk to get to any stores, or other shopping facilities.
We were a party of three. The room we had was fairly spacious. The car park is not directly connected to the hotel, though was secure and seems safe. Unfortunately we could not get from the car park directly into the back door of the hotel after hours and had to walk around to the front - a bit of minor inconvenience. If you also want to get any groceries or find a store, you have a bit of walk to get downtown. Overall location is fine though.

Very classy

Very nice hotel. Hotel was decorated with nice European style and just what you would expect from a hotel just a few blocks from Waterford Crystal. Staff was great and very friendly. The hotel was right on the water and was very convenient to the historic triangle area.

This was a pleasant little hotel on the marina in waterford. We stayed only one night, but the room was clean and we slept well.
