disappointing

when i booked this hotel i thought there was a hot tub because it showed it in the pictures that was the main reason i went there cause i wanted to relax in the hot tub

We closed the hot tub in October 2014 and asked all websites to removed it from their description of the hotel. I am sorry that was the only reason you wanted to stay with us but the repair cost was too high.

I would recommend this place only if it was for a one night stay. It was okay. Some people seemed a little off. Police were there when I went for breakfast. Location was great for us. Staff seemed really pretty good.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, there are things that happen at a hotel or in the parking lot that may require us to call the police. In this there was an issue with someone that was reported camping in the open space behind the hotel.

A little more effort might gain great results

Friend staff but they weren't really capable or willing to fix problems. The waffle batter was unmixed one morning. They were really sorry but couldn't take time to mix it. We had two rooms. One was less than clean with the toilet being dirty. Much of the hotel was being redecorated. I hope that is a step to making it better. In all, 2 stars might be a low rating but I give them potential to reach 3 or 4 if they put the effort in. I couldn't control the heat well. Ended up turning the AC on when the outdoor temp was 10-deg.

I am sorry about the experience you had at our hotel.I will address it with the staff about making sure the waffle batter is mixed each morning and fresh put out. I am sorry that you feel that staff did not care enough to try. I will also be addressing the cleanliness for the bathrooms with my housekeeping staff. I will make sure that AC units were addressed. Please give us other try when you come to Waterloo to see if things have been addressed.

Good location

Pros: Cleanliness and location.
Cons: The chair in the room needs to be replaced or cleaned very good.
The room was overall very clean, except for a lounge chair that was very dirty! It needed to be taken out of the room completely and replaced. Other than the chair, the room was very comfortable and clean. We had to cancel our last night there, and the hotel manager agreed to give us a complete refund for that night. This was very much appreciated, as they could have charged us 100% for that night.

Do not stay here!

Room was filthy dirty. Only stayed one night and could not sleep due to thinking about what lurked in every nook and cranny. Checked out and went elsewhere.

Cheaply Built

We could hear people in other rooms and cars outside. We were fortunate the motel was not full. Very noisy!

inexpensive for area, good quality for price

Pros: cost compared to other hotels in area was good.
Cons: Breakfast was the same thing EVERYDAY!
Location: Close to mall for holiday shopping and easy access to main roads.
No problems with room everything went OK. Breakfast was OK but same thing every day. Didn't use pool room was clean and comfortable. Stayed in better, but for the money was very good.

We had to search for someone working to check-in. Our room was dirty and smelled. The bathroom sink had some unknown substance all over it.

Pros: clean room, late breakfast although we didn't eat breakfast there.
Cons: cleaner sheets and blankets.
Location: burger king next door.
the hotel was all right. two front desk ladies at night weren't very professionally presentable so it was a bit uncomfortable checking in. the room was not impressive. bed was itchy. hallways were loud and we could hear other people in rooms through our rooms. bathroom was very tight. bad door planning. glad we only spent one night there. the outside picture glorifies the location a bit much.

I am sorry that you were not happy with the front desk staff at the hotel. this will be addressed with them. Yes the bathrooms are a little small unfortunately that had to do with the building was put up. We have talked about enlarging the bathroom, but we do not want to take the space from the hallways to do so. Next time you are staying with us please if other guest is disrupting your stay let the front desk know so it can be addressed right away.

Almost perfect!

Great value! Clean & nice. A burger king is right next door and many other restaurants within walking distance. The only downside for me was their hot tub was not properly taken care of and was at best warm. However, the pool and pool area was very nice.
