Yuk!

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Needs an reno. Paint and wallpaper peeling off. Furniture dated, stained.
Smelled moldy - needed AC on at full blast to help with humidity. Dirty carpets, loveseat - wouldn't take my shoes off to walk on carpet. Stained bed covers - but the sheets and towels were clean. Non-smoking rooms were mixed with the smoking rooms, so smoke was prevalent throughout the halls and if you had a non-smoking room beside a smoking room. Would definitely not stay at any Comfort Inn in the future based on this experience.

Thought Comfort Inn had a better standard!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Not too much.
Cons: The cleanliness and how tired it looks. It is sitting adjacent to a swany Toyota company and looks so drab next to lots of shiny, beautiful new cars.
Location: We were just driving through, having previously visited and seen the Welland canal. But it's only half an hour from Buffalo with tons to do.
My mother and I visited Welland last week and stayed at this Inn. On driving in, we immediately noticed lots of papers and small garbage strewn in the parking lot. The only garbage can near one of the doors was so full, people were piling their garbage around it. It was hard to get past that and think of checking in but 24 cancellation notice would apply. The outside is generally a good indication of what is inside. One of the side doors had a huge window broken with no tape or note indicating it would be fixed. These are things that people do not want to associate a good stay with. When I asked the front desk if the pillows and duvet were down filled (as I am allergic), she said she did not know. I took that to mean she did not care. I requested the maid to give me an extra sheet and blanket which she willingly did. There was a lot of noise and door banging but I guess I cannot fault the hotel for that. Breakfast was good. It was supposed to be continental but there were enough choices. We intended to stay for two nights but checked out after the first. I will not be going back to this location.

The hotel needs an overall update in everything

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service, cleanliness, making sure that the amenities such as air conditioning work.
Location: Niagara Falls is only 15 minutes away but there is nothing really to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel's location.
The hotel needs an overhaul in everything from customer service, room cleanliness and room decor. It was a humid day in the area, which is not atypical at this time of year, and yet the air conditioning was barely functioning. There was only one full size towel in the bathroom and the sheets had a mark on them when I pulled them back. I was trying out the hotel for guests who will be coming to an event later this month in the region, and there is no way I could recommend it in good conscience. In fact, I went out for dinner with a friend and ended up not ocming back to the hotel except to check out the next morning because I could not bear to be there for a full night.

Very disappointing

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Hotel room was dirty. Floors hadn't been vacuumed and garbage pails were disgusting. Bathroom had toilet paper behind toilet. Free breakfast wasn't worth anything. Pancakes were only soft in the middle and waffle maker wasn't working.

Nothing good to say about it

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Check in and out was breeze
Cons: Everything - I do not where to begin. First clean the dang thing. Broken glasses in front door does not look appealing. Stains in pillow, towels yak!!
Location: Spend 2 hours in nearby M.T. bellies just to get away from the place. We slept at this motel one night and that is probably going to be the last.
Dirty, noisy and breakfast was a joke. Never ever again at this place. Could not sleep because dog was barking @ next door.

Welland Comfort Inn

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: nothing other than the location to the event I was attending
Cons: clean it up, get rid of the terrible smell in the hotel, get rid of the smoking rooms.
Location: location was ok
Booked a non smoking room - expedia did not book it as non smoking. The room stunk, I had to have them come and vacuum the room because there was food all over the floor. My throat is still sore from the chemicals in the air. I will never stay there again or use Expedia again.
