Great view of harbour

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere
Cons: chairs in lounge area are waiting to be refurbished. some of them need to be moved until this is done
Location: not far from the airport and the rail terminal
Had a great room which was nicely decorated and had a lovely view of the harbour. Te Papa Museum is only a five minute walk away and we enjoyed a pleasant meal in the restaurant.

2 night stay for homegrown

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Lobby and a bar is a nice set up. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms are nice and big. Ow and you can also choose what sort if pillow you want.
I would deffinatly stay there again. The staff was very proffesional and kind. We got a little rowdy one night but were told to shut up in a nice way. Just want to say sorry for that.

Nice hotel but value for money??

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Large room, good view of harbour
Cons: Provide parking, free wi-fi in room
Location: centre of town close to museum, shopping etc
This was all that was left in the whole of wellington on the last night of my journey. Late to book so payed full price and apart from being a large comfortable room thats all I got. No wi-fi and no parking which when paying top dollar I think should be included. So very good hotel but not value for money.

Great hotel near waterfront and TePapa museum.

Had a wonderful one day stay, enjoyed room, especially king bed. If you have a rental car call ahead for hotel valet, limited parking available.

Waiting for the ferry

Pros: Facilities / staff friendliness and helpfulness / position
Beautiful hotel which HAD excellent views over the harbour, (though these are increasingly compromised by nearby developments.)

Something different and enjoyable

Posted Feb 25, 2015
We stayed here 2 nights and wished it was longer when we left. Wonderful accomodation with high ceilings and great light. Felt like a Mediterranean villa. However that was just the start. The hosts Phil and Kathryn were fantastic and made us feel very much at home. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh apples and plums from the orchid sat in a bowl outside the room. We also received great advice as to what too see. Do yourselves a favour and stay here. Not cheap but great value.

View of Harbour spectacular

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Service and location excellent. Beds very hard for our taste. Dissatisfied with "free " wifi as advertised. Given only 30" of very poor service then you are charged $20/day for the same poor service. Unacceptable.
