Close to my step-daughter, and her husband's placePosted Mar 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was clean. The people were very accommodating. However, the single-serve, packaged "fresh ground" coffee was terrible by our standards, and it would be nice if facial tissue (kleenex) was provided.

Hotel a 30 minute walk from city centrePosted Mar 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Expensive for room size and location. Appears to be well run. Shower head fell off when we turned water on. Obvious that it had been broken for a while. Otherwise establishment in very good state of repair.

A simple, clean place to stayPosted Oct 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
Situated between the airport and the city, on a main road in the semi-trendy suburb of Newtown, we found this just right for a night in Wellington after landing in the late afternoon. A short drive from the parkland of Alexandra Drive and the wonderful Mount Victoria lookout, and only a short drive into the city, it was convenient and clean and the people were nice. It's nothing flash, mind you, and the location across from the large Wellington Hospital give it no points for views, but you'd be happy with this on any driving holiday.

A most enjoyable stay close to shops and the city.
