The staff were very helpful. The place was small but adequate for our short stay. The combination washer dryer took forever to both wash and dry the clothes, which was very inconvenient. Well located to walk to most attractions in Wellington.

Astelia is in a great location and is clean and the studios are compact with everything you need. If you have a car, parking may be an issue as the parking garage across the street has very narrow spaces so no good for bigger cars. The only issue with the studio is that we had one of the access rooms and although that is usually okay (we didn’t book access) the shower is only suitable for someone in a wheelchair. The shower bar could not be raised and I had to bend over ( or sit on the seat) to wash my hair.

Pros: kitchen space, nice toiletry products staff were nice Cons staff were not knowlegable about how to run a complicated washer that locked my clothes up for 2 days Manager was supposed to email me after CHECKOUT with an offer of a discount for all the time we spent dealing wirh this but did not email me at all Cons: Parking cost an exytra $28/day im a shady disfunctional parking lot, We were afraid to take our car out for fear of falling of the ramps so we had to change site seeing plans

Check-in process was simple. Room was in excellent condition with everything we needed. It’s located close to the main attractions in Wellington, though it can get a little noisy at night. Staff were very friendly. We had an empty luggage that we had to dispose of, and the front desk kindly took care of it for us. We were satisfied with our stay, we will likely stay again should we visit Wellington again in the future.

Nice place to stay. Very accessible to local shops dining and transport. Reception only downfall. Hard to check in when Office closed parts of the day makes it quite impersonal and only option in room is pod coffee machine I don't like and rather just a few sachets of instant coffe. Otherwise great place to stay. Would stay again

Property has a great location. The apartment was a good size and layout with everything you would need for a few days. But is a bit tired and needing a refurb. It was very hot and stuffy in the room and the fan couldnt be plugged in as the cord couldnt reach the available plugs. Needs airconditioning.

Ideally situated at the top end of Willis St. Easy walk to airport bus and other buses. Comfortable apartment with all you need for a short stay. Bathroom is tight though and there is a washing machine in it.Small TV in lounge with Freeview. Loved the seperate bedroom area. Friendly helpful staff at reception.We faced Willis St and it was reasonably quiet even without double glazing. Second time we have stayed here and would do so again although it is looking a bit tired, a wee spruce up would not go amiss.

Comfortable in central Wellington
Well located for the Courtenay Place eating and entertainment area, and relatively short and largely covered walk to Lambton Quay and the business/government area of Wellington. Comfortable room without being over the top. Good coffee shop close to entrance door for a morning cuppa, and there is an international food foodcourt just over the road to provide some interesting options if a quick casual meal is wanted.

Convenient place to stay
Astelia Apartment Hotel is located at a walkable distance from the city sights. There is a small convenience shop diagonally across the road from the hotel and several eateries are close by. We stayed for a few nights to go to the 2023 WOW show.

Comfortable and clean accomodation in central Wellington. I appreciated the welcoming friendly staff, eco kitchen and bathroom products, and delicious t-bags. Would definitely go again.
