Handy hotel to main centre

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location and general overall clean rooms and facilities.
Cons: No
Location: Close to bus stop, shops, restaurants, Te Papa, cable car.
I had a most enjoyable stay in the 2 bedroomed apartment. Very clean and inviting living area and rooms. Bed was extremely comfortable. All the facilities were available including dishwasher and washing machine and drier. Bus stop to airport was just over the road and all other destinations were within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend to any other traveller.

right in the heart of CBD

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Loation- right in the middle of CBD; Kitchen- very well equiped even with a dishwasher.
Location: great location, right next to the cable car station. Of course ideal for shopping
We booked into the executive two-bedroom suite and it was great for our family of 4. Staff members were very helpful, rooms were big and comfy. Good sized lounge, dinning, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and landry- we've got everything we would need.

Good price and convenient, comfy Hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Location: Easy walking distance to all Wellington has to offer
A group of friends and I spent a Weekend in Wellington booked in at the CityLife Hotel. The decor is modern & new and it was nice and clean. The room was spacious and staff were friendly and helpful! Best of all the price we paid was reasonable.

In the city, close to everything.

Travelling with the two kids was a lot easier in this two bedroom apartment. It was very comfortable and clse to cable car, wharves and museum. Only thing: I would strongly suggest getting instructions re parking before driving there.

Apartment living trumped staying in a hotel

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Everything. We will book this again next time we are in town!
Cons: More dishes, mixing cups and bowls, and more silverware/utensils.Papertowels.
Location: Walking distance to awesome free museum, shopping and restaurants and waterfront. Everything right there...CityLife was smack in the middle!
On a business trip, we decided to try a CityLife, 2 bdrm apt. It was very well appointed, with two bedrooms on opposite ends of the suite. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. Each was en suite, with one bath having a tub/shower, and the other just the shower stall, but a very nice shower stall. The Kitchen was perfect...toaster, microwave, oven, coffee press, kettle. The room was clean, fresh smelling (not smokey nor perfumed), very modern, and not cluttered. Laundry facilities in one of the bathrooms...worked great. I was able to get a clothes rack too for drying. Overall, this was one of the best extended hotel stays I have ever had. Also, the staff was exceptionally helpful, setting up cabs, recommending shops (including a nearby Metro grocery store where we got our food...excellent!), and restaurant reservations and ideas.

Nice hotel very central adjacent parking

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Central to everything
Cons: Very little. Starting to get slightly dated, but still excellent
Location: Shopping, theatre, museums, waterfront.
Like being central and close to Lampton Quay (down the lifts). Parking nice and easy.

central to the shopping!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: central location and quiet
Cons: Our rooms decor was starting to look a bit tired... water damage to the base of the bathroom door. A kitchen cabinet door unable to shut due to damage
Location: SHOPS! Markets, waterfront area, train station, restaurants. It is all there on your door step
Brilliant place to stay for a weekend of shopping! A ride down the elevator and onto Lampton Quay for the best of Wellingtons shops.
