“Location, location, location...”

The hotel is exactly what it advertises itself as, rooms are excellent and clean. My one personal gripe is I just don’t like the open showers as they make too much of a watery mess, housekeeping was meticulous though. However, the real reason the stay here is the location which is amazing. Having previously stayed on The Terrace having a hotel so close to Cuba and the nightlife was an eye opener and totally removes the need for a car.

“Great sized rooms”

The Quality Hotel in Cuba Street is fantastic and reasonably priced. Great sized rooms - can cater for a family of 4 with 2 queen beds and still room to enjoy. Kitchenette handy also. Only problem is the shower - the water sprays onto the floor around the shower - easily wiped up though. Fantastic location - close to Courtenay Place, restaurants, bars, Te Papa and transport. Cuba Mall always an interesting experience people watching! Thoroughly recommend - make sure you book into the Quality - the Comfort has much smaller rooms (cheaper price obviously).

The hotel is on Cuba st, right in the middle of central wellington. it is close to Te Papa, shopping, Parliament, waterfront etc and also in walking distance to the bus terminal to go further out. The room was really nice, beds were really comfy and the cleanliness was top notch. The only complaint I would have is that the shower didn't have a door, it was just glass panels on each side that didn't meet up at all. this meant that the entire bathroom got flooded every time I had a shower. Apart from the non existent door, the shower was hot and had great pressure. I would definently reccomend this hotel to others.

“Pleasant and convenient”

Located on the Cuba Street Mall -- a slightly scruffy, but perfectly safe, and very central, location. Easy walking distance to all the sights. *Very* nice rooms. Studio apartment style rooms with full -- and fully equipped -- kitchenette facilities. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Room is quite big and I am satisfied with the kitchen, very convenient just like in a motel.

“Great value, Great location, Great hotel!!”

This is an excellent hotel and amazing value for money. The room was spacious and clean, with lovely up-to-date furnishing. There was a kitchenette - great for cooking or just making tea and snacks. The location was perfect, right on Cuba Street in the middle of all the action. The only things we didn't like was the over-chlorinated pool, the rather brusque reception staff, and the parking fee.

“A lovely stay in Wellington”

The room was very large so there was a lot of space. Very neatly appointed bathroom and some cooking utensils. Convenient location. Access to free internet was appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. Service excellent. A coin operated laundromat service in the hotel was greatly appreciated as it was a holiday weekend. A great place to stay in Wellington city.

“Christmas in Wellington”

We had a most enjoyable stay in the Qualtiy Hotel Wellington. We had dinner in the dining room on Christmas Eve and were the only diners during the early part of the evening and were made most welcome by the restaurant manager who was extremely helpful and attentive. My only criticism would be as the weather was very warm during our stay air conditioning in the rooms would have been an advantage although the fan supplied was very good.

“Very good hotel in good location”

'Superb' may be too strong a rating for this hotel but it is very nice and in a good location. Room was very good, quite large, two queen beds, nice modern design, good bathroom and cooking facilities if you needed them. I would readily stay here again. My booking here was only about $30 more than I paid for its neighbour (Comfort Hotel) a week or two ago - but the hotels are worlds apart in what they offer.
