Like living through several days of earthquakes

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Staff were very nice
Cons: Internet service was very poor and could easily be improved.
Location: Location was very good as it is close to train station, CBD, and many good restaurants.
This building has poor structural integrity and sways and jerks about in the wind. I felt like I was experiencing an earthquake everyday and couldn't sleep at night.

Location: walked to Te papa with kids
Good easy to find location close to everything. Tidy ...weather was windy and rainy...so couldn't leave windows open due to wind noise could do with air conditioning or fans

Over night

Posted Apr 12, 2015 on Wotif
Location: Great choice of restaurants that cater for all tastes. Close to quality shops and transport.
Colleagues and I stayed one night at the Quest on Johnson in Wellington. It is my preferred hotel because its clean, has friendly staff who know the area and it close to quality restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

Central to Everything

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Location: Westpac Stadium/Cake Tin, Beehive, bars, restaurants, Waterfront, Ferry terminal.
Although Wellington is small, it can still take a while to get around. The Quest was well located to the Waterfront, Parliament, Cake Tin and central shops and restaurants. The accommodation itself covers all the basics and feels spacious enough to function in. The bathrooms are a little tight but have all the essentials. Only thing that was a new experience was the wind movement of the building during high winds. It can't be helped but does make you feel like you've got sea-legs. Apart from that a great place to stay, welcoming staff with good knowledge and helpful information and a great location.

Friendly service

Posted Apr 5, 2015 on Hotels
Friendly welcome with friendly service to follow. The room was small but OK for the one night. The only negative point was the noise of the street cleaner & the rubbish bin pick up, we were on the 7th floor but it sounded as if we were at street level.
