great location

excellent location for shopping and getting around the city. Although it was a little noisy from other guests having a party all night long in general the place is awseome.

Nice enough. A bit noisy

Posted Jun 27, 2015
This hotel was nice enough and served our purposes. It was a bit noisy but could not expect anything else in the city. Furniture was a little tired

An enjoyable stay in the centre of the city

Posted May 6, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Location, location, location. Slap bang in the centre of the city. Beds are so comfortable, and shower offers a high pressure massage as well.
Cons: More cutlery, crockery etc. Don't go on holiday to do dishes every time you want a drink, have something to eat. Two of everything is very limiting.
Location: Very central to all main attractions. Easy walk to Te Papa, Westpac Stadium, Waterfront activities and bars, shopping.
We always enjoy staying at the friendly Quest Wellington. Any special requests are accommodated wherever possible - no fuss.

Great stay in Wellington

Posted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
The Quest Wellington had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I loved how centrally located it was - everything was within walking distance! The decor might be a little dated but everything was functional which was the most important thing for us. We'd definitely stay there again.

Pros: so centre to town and Starbucks
Cons: my room could have done with a little hello. The wall in the kitchen needs attention as the shower
Location: The availability to Starbucks for me was fabulous. It was also a 2 minute walk to my course and a jump to go shopping. Loved it an will be back
staff were very helpful and friendly, I felt like I had been staying there for weeks.

Hotel with a smell

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Cons: Find out the source of the smell, if it is in the building or caused by one of the guests, and do something about it.
I stayed 2 night at this hotel and everything was ok for the price range except for the smell that penetrated at least the whole 5th floor, corridor and room. Could be that someone was cooking very aromatic meals in one of the rooms but the stank persisted day and night and was only marginally reduced by keeping all windows open, which on a busy and noisy downtown street is not ideal.

Somewhat strange bedding

Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
The staff member that was on duty at the time was a bit abrupt and offended my partner when he asked a question. I found the bedding situation very strange, "the three sheet system is very odd" i would have preferred a cover on the duvet inner instead of it being wrapped in a sheet.
