We enjoyed the location in the city centre. The unit was well equipped and even had a washer and dryer. The staff were friendly and helpful

Return stay

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Location, high standard of rooms, comfort.
Cons: Reception hours could be extended or a doorman would be useful when the reception is closed.
Location: Location is excellent! Close to many attractions, the extensive wharf area, various other tourist interests & Wgtn's best shopping precinct.
My fave downtown hotel to stay for my last couple of short visits. Consistently well presented rooms, spacious & very comfortable. Prime central city location convenient to great stores, cafes, tourist attractions, public transport etc and just a short stroll to the extensive wharf area which has many interesting facilities and activities to explore.

parking is unacceptable

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: nice rooms and realy central
Location: central to everything, tepapa, cable car and all the shops and night life
To be told that parking is an extra $30 overnight or $60 if you want to take the vehicle out and put it back is not good enough. it should be stated on the website when booking. also the receptionist had no idea when the tourist in front said hello in German she answered as her first words to the customer "is that your name" no polite greeting.

Comfortable old refurbished building

Posted Dec 25, 2014
Pros: The spaciousness of the room as well as the location.
Cons: Parking and loading and unloading can be difficult as there are only 2 spaces in front for this and others tend to use these spots to run errands.
Location: Near everything, shops restaurants museum and public transport.
The rooms and bathroom are large and well appointed and clean. Great central location. However, parking is awkward and costly. Pleasant and helpful staff.
