Nice Hotel, well positioned, home away from home.Posted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: The room was clean, spacious, well serviced. The staff were friendly, helpful and imparted local knowledge and suggestions for buses, cabs, places.
Location: The Hotel is in a nice quiet end of the Quay, near Courteney Place, Embassy Theatre, buses, Harbour Beach, Museum, Grocery shop. Excellent location
Rooms spacious, good views over harbour/street/mountains..As I come from a busy city I don't want to be in the middle of crowds so this was pleasing, at a nice part of town close to water and activities.

Cons: Drinking water must be provided for along with room charges
Location: Very close to Bay.
I had very pleasant stay. Very helpful staff at reception. Helped me a lot when they found that my luggage got misplaced/ delayed. I recommend others to try out this hotel

Wellington is a lovely clean. friendly city with lots to see and do. Very easy to get around by either car, public transport or walking. Great food, coffee, sights and an overall great vibe, love it!!

Disgusting, doesn't even do justice ...Posted Dec 5, 2013
I highly suggest that you guys remove this hotel from your website. Our stay in this hotel was an appalling experience. period!

Great locationPosted Nov 29, 2013
Pity about the construction going on in the next block i guess it will be temporary. I should have asked for a front room for the spectacular view, I guess someone has to have a back room. We appreciated the great location to the city and very friendly staff.

Close to the Cinema, New world and WaterfrontPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: The room was clean and tidy, extra pillows were in the cupboard.
Cons: An improvement i would suggest would be to have flyers of things to do and a list of the minibar prices. That would be really helpful.
Location: Theres a movie cinema less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel was really nice, close to a lot of amenities. Although the let downs were that there was an annoying water pumping sound coming from our bathroom which made it really difficult to sleep at night after a long day of exploring the capital. Also another let down was our view, which was fairly boring to look at.

Really nice views, great location close to CityPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Location, reception area
Cons: Rooms are a bit dated
Location: Theatres, shops, Te Papa, waterfront, cafe's. All very close by
It was a great location for our weekend away in Wellington for a concert. We could walk to everything and didn't need a car. Quick check in and friendly staff. The hotel is getting very tired and is due for a revamp very soon, TV in the room was ancient, a bit noisy with the drunks shouting in the street below during the night but I suppose you get that in all city centres these days. All in all it was a good stay at a very good price.

Great location, lovely staff. Rooms a little tiredPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Location, view.
Cons: Free wi-fi throughout and flat screen tv's.
Location: Amazing location overlooking harbour close to Te Papa museum and those cool four seater bicycles can be hired nearby, the kids love em.
I first stayed here in 2005 and it hasn't been modernized/re-decorated since. However, its a nice hotel in a good location with friendly, helpful staff. I had just traveled round Indonesia and the hotels there that had TV's had flat screens and all of them had free wi-fi. I was quite surprised to see at Bay Plaza old style TV and had to pay for internet in NZ. I am sure paying for internet is probably normal in NZ and I wasn't really bothered about the TV. The harbour views where great and the room clean and tidy and the staff particularly Millie where friendly and helpful.
