Needs a remodel

Posted Jul 26, 2015
The outside is very old and run down. I was a little scared pulling up. The woman at the front desk was very nice. The room itself wasn't too bad. It was big and had comfy beds... But... The tv was so old and barely worked. It was so fuzzy on most channels it was unwatchable. One bed's comforter had a very disturbing white stain on it that was very noticeable. Housekeeping should have washed that for sure. Oh and the train woke me up a couple times. It felt like it was in the room with us. The worst part was the $6.99 breakfast buffet. It was horrible and shouldn't have been something you have to pay for. The eggs were squishy and gross and the sausage was RAW! Like full pink inside. Pretty much left starving after paying for 2 breakfasts. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Not great

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything except for the staff
The hotel was disappointing for the price> We have always considered Red Lion and nicer hotel and we were very surprised with the quality at this location. They claim they were remodeling and had signs posted to "excuse the dust" but there was no actual remodeling or construction going on. The room had a very old turn of the century television that had terrible reception with no pay preview movies, which we always look forward to,the coffee pot did not work and there was no iron in the room. All of which was blamed on the remodel. After all of this we thought we could unwind with a trip to the hot tub but that was also a fail because there where 12 children, unattended, splashing around. The upside to our stay was that the front desk staff was very sympathetic and gave us a new room and complimentary breakfast for our 2 day stay.

Over Priced

They have very small sleeping pillows. When I asked for more, they did not have any more. I will try a Motel 6 before heading back to this Red Lion.

Terrible cleaning service, I will not stay again

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Continental breakfast for $6.95 is great, would be even better if included in the room.
Cons: Carpet needs changing, and need to replace the air conditioner with something quiter. I literally have to turn it off and stand the high temp to sleep
Location: Located in the heart of Wenatchee, can't be better.
I've stayed at many Red Lions before, like the one in Seattle and Bellevue downtown, both are well quality hotels. This one in Wenatchee is unfortunately an exception. The hotel facility is old, which is fine - but the air con is just too noisy to ignore. The worst part is - the cleaning service performed at out room is terrible - the bed is not well made, the towels are not properly stack in the washroom, makes us feel someone used them before, and we found hair on a lot of things in the washroom. For more than $100 I paid for one night of stay, the service I got was extremely disappointing.

Very Disapointing

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: I liked that it used to be very nice
Cons: retrain staff, open a real cafe and use real food Do not start construction noise until after 10am Flat panel TV's with HD
Location: Good location in middle of town, easy access to bars and shopping
The bathtub drain was filled with hair and wouldn't drain. They did not inform us they were starting a remodel so there was loud construction noise the last two nights. There's no restaurant like every other Red Lion. The "Breakfast" the claim to have is the worst ever, almost certain they used powdered eggs. It was terrible.
