Girls Get AWAY

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: nothing except maybe a refrigerator
Location: So close to Leavenworth and all the activities there.
The Sleeping Lady resort was a perfect get-a-way for the girls. Quiet and a great way to reconnect with friends We loved the solitude of the woods surrounding as well as the river. the hot tub at night was so relaxing. We might even go back with our husbands :-). Betty.

Wonderful, quiet, and private

Posted Aug 21, 2014
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the map to be a bit confusing at first but got our bearings quickly. LOVED being without a television and was delighted to see how many families were enjoying being unplugged and tuned into each other. The beds were so comfortable that we slept beautifully. The bartender/server at the Grotto Bar was the perfect blend of friendly and professional. We also used O'Grady's Pantry, the gift shop and the library. All were beautifully maintained and full of options. The one time that I found something in my room that wasn't clean enough it was cheerfully corrected within 10 minutes. We look forward to this being an overnight stop each time we are crossing the mountains.

Nice family experience

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The scenery was very relaxing.
We had a great trip. The kids loved the pool and the facilities. I wish the restaurant pricing catered to families with young children. Other than that - it was a great experience and we look forward to returning.

Wedding hotel stay

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Beds and robes super comfortable! Soap provides a spa like experience. Pool is great in a woodland setting. Towel warmers a special treat! My only recommendation is for the $ a light continental breakfast would add value (even just some fruit and a few pastries and maybe some yogurts or oatmeal) to enjoy with your morning coffee/tea.

Cons: In public shower no garbage can, no dryer no mirror it was very uncomfortable.
Feels like camp cabins, nice relaxing small outside pool no TV no fridge.

Always want to go back

Posted Jul 4, 2014
I have stayed here on multiple occasions, and I love every minute of it. The grounds are very peaceful, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and the staff are responsive to all your needs and questions. It is convenient to have a few different restaurant options onsite, though if I were to stay for more than a night or two I would plan to have some meals in town. This location is convenient for anyone wanting to hike, relax, or enjoy the town.

It was more than we imagined!

Posted Jul 3, 2014
When we got there, we checked in, they gave us a map and told us where to go. It was like we were at a camp! Walking through the woods with a designated trail to get to our home. But, with deer and critters along the way. It was awesome if you are an outdoorsy person. It was peaceful and relaxing. Very much like being in the mountains by yourself but with everything you need and just a 5 mile drive into town. The pool area was beautiful too! We didn't use it like we planned but that was just because we didn't stay long enough and our days were busy enough doing adventures out on the town. But it was so relaxing and quiet to come back to at the end of our day. There was access to hike at the hotel and the horse back riding outfitters across the way. We woke up one morning to go and then we saw the sleeping lady mountain! There's an actual mountain shaped like a sleeping Lady! Anyway, we loved our stay. BEST RESORT EVER! Will definitely come back and it will be the first thing to tell everyone about our trip to Leavenworth.

It's a beautiful resort for you and your family.

I was looking for a hotel/resort away from the city to relax and re-energize myself, and I found it. It's a beautiful place, the scenery around town is amazing. I tried the pork hock at king ludwig, it was delicious. If you want to do something with your family/friends, they have rafting, horse back riding, winery tour...

beautiful setting and cabin feel

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: the setting and ability to walk around through woods and by the stream
Cons: shower pressure and the sauna facility is a bit small and not enough heat there at all.
Location: its a place to relax and just to enjoy the surrounding and not to be looking for things, its all there.
I have gone there for business and leisure travel, with and without family and kids. Wonderful place to stay especially the way its set up. Pleasant place to stay of serenity and peace.
