“Would definitely stay there again.”
Clean, comfortable and easy to find.
“Best room for the money”
Because of the discount due to Expedia, this hotel stay was the best value that I have seen in the past two years for a hotel stay in the United States.
“Avoid this one”
The room smelled like a urine residue was either in the carpet or the heating/ac unit. Staff seemed unresponsive at checkout when informed of problem.
“Nope”
No fridge or microwave in room which is needed when u have an infant with bottled breast milk
“the rooms stunk with a horrible oder”
the room smelled of mildew and the odor was horrible if i would not have had the charge on my card already i would have left as the others in my party wold have too butfinding threerooms would have been really hard at that time of night
“Not Clean”
Recognizing that this is a very old motel we found it to be very unclean. The blantet went quickly to the floor as neither my wife nor I were interested in sleeping with it over us. My pillow case had a dirt streak across it. I just turned it over an slept on the other side. Mentioning this to my wife would have caused us to move to another motel and I didn't want to move at that time of night. The heating until controls did not function but in attempting to adjust we discover the thing clogged with dust. No more Super 8s for us.
“A tent in the rest area would be better”
The musty smell is the first thing my wife and I noticed when we first opened the door to the room even though the cleaning staff had left the room fan on. We left the A/C on the whole time we stayed (2 nights) but leaving the room and re-entering the musty smell did not go away. My wife and I did check the room for mold and didn't find any but it could have been painted over. On a good note we check for bedbugs but didn't see any signs on or around the mattress or box springs. The pillows were thin, flat and just plain terrible. Choosing this hotel was a last minute deal due to friend of family getting out of the hospital and into hospice and there were several events scheduled this weekend so the area hotels were either booked or nearly so and having seen the MSN/Money story on the worst hotel chains in America I was hesitant to book a room with Super 8. The desk clerk was nice enough but blaming both room keys being bad or de-magnetized versus the previous day clerk not programming 2 days into keys, and the cleaning staff were rude and lacked common manners.
“It isn't old, it's ancient....and horrible”
What a dump!!! No idea the carpet stains.....ugh. The bed was torture, the pillows were a joke. Outlets? had to move the bed to find them.... Continental Breakfast???? Perhaps "continental" in Bangladesh, but heck: one crummy roll & juice is not exactly a 'real' breakfast. and the roll looked really, really bad....went out for breakfast..... :( Really nothing good to say about the dump. Maybe they should call it a "Super One"..... :( Do NOT every stay here....at $20 a night it would be overcharging: for what they're getting, it is like theft. don't do it.... This place isn't old: it's dead, ancient. And you get the feeling that the "owners" really don't care......about the hotel, about you.....
