The musty odor that you will receive when you walk in the front door is a bit overwhelming. It will continue until you get in your room and open the window. The ac/heating unit made unusual noise while it was running. The beds were lumpy and did not have fitted sheets on them, so the first time you roll over, you have exposed the mattress. The light switch for the TV was broken. There wasn't enough towels for two people even though we requested a room for two people.

extremely outdated. Grout in shower was gross. almost no water pressure

Sleep in your car instead!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything.
Location: We were there for parents weekend at U of Iowa. It was hard to find a room so we ended up here. Never again!
Dirty, smelled like smoke, facets did not work on tub, only hot water came out of sink. Didnt want to walk on the floor without shoes on. If I didnt have my three children with me, I would have slept in my car. It was awful!

good cheap option for iowa city

cheapest option for recent visit to iowa city for the football game. right off the highway. it is a motel, but clean. dont think you need shower shoes...

This place is very overpriced for what it is.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: With a lot of work and money
Location: There is a Mexican Restaurant attached to the motel. Not much of anywhere else to go other than to a bar
This place is run down, messy, and needs repairs and painting. It is grossly overpriced. When we checked in there were piles of sheets on a table and on the floor. This was about 6:00 in the evening when we checked in. For $105.00 I was extremely disappointed. Drain didn't work and plaster in bathroom unpainted. I would never suggest this to anyone.
