Fine for a night

Only a short walk from the beach and the breakfast is good. It's the only place I've seen that puts out a large block each of dark, milk, and white chocolate for guests to hack at with fancy semi-circular knives. To bring someone to reception just press the button on the counter.

Lights on but nobodies home.

Posted Jun 19, 2013
I arrived at the hotel at about 6:30 pm. There were 2 elderly women sitting on a short cement wall. I walked up to them, looked at the hotel, and then they said to me " their is nobody home ". And then they laughed. I walked to the door and sure enough, no one was there. So I walked around the town for a couple of hours until someone showed up and let me in. The room was very nice. The breakfast was excellent, and the maid service were attentive to my needs. However a few days later when I went to check out at 6:30 am, no-one was there. So I placed the key on the desk in my room, and left.

Aquilon Boutique Hotel in Blankenberge

Hotel comfortable, Manageress very efficient and friendly, our room - due to late booking - on 4th floor and very basic, but not reflected in price. Good breakfast and close to beach and promenade. Railway station just around the corner and only 7 mins to Bruges, really enjoyed our break and can certainly recommend the hotel.
