Pros: Suite with sauna. Centrally located.
Cons: More staff around to assist.
Location: Centrally located a few minutes away from shops, restaurants and the beach.
Decided to treat ourselves and booked a suite with sauna. Reading the description it sounded like the hotel had a garage so we could park there for a surcharge. When we arrived we were told they didn't have their own car park and were directed to the nearest one which was near the Casino, a 5 minute walk away. Cost 23 Euros for 2 days. There's free 15 minute street parking outside the hotel so enough time to unload luggage. The suite was clean but bed not too comfortable. Only two small bottles and two sachets of shower gel provided. Buffet breakfast was adequate but no member of staff around to take our room number and explain what the choices were. When we checked in we were waiting so long for the receptionist to deal with the customer in front of us that my husband had to go on his own to move the car as the 15 minutes was nearly up.

Pros: Good firm beds and the room was warm.
Cons: Parking would be good
Location: Good walking along the beach front, especially for relaxing after a long drive, and good restaurants close by.
We only stayed one night as a break from driving between Cardiff (Wales) and Ahrweiler (Germany) but it was a very pleasant overnight and the breakfast was first class. We make this trip several times a year and will certainly stay at the Mondo again.

good looking hotel :reasonably priced

Pros: location; cost; good staff; good food.
Cons: More tv channels
Location: Handy for station and coast tram stops ; fabulous beach 3 minutes away; restaurants of all varieties on your doorstep.
Very central to an elegant comfortable resort; the first room offered had an unopenable broken window so was too hot , but the excellent desk staff immediately offered a small but suitable alternative. For a central hotel it was quiet. The breakfast was splendid.

Okay hotel near beach and shopping center

Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: The rooms are a nice size if you accept that you don't have a deluxe room and settle for a standard. Lovely shower. Nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: No fridges nor safes.Put some more clothes hangers in the double room.Information bundle about the hotel and the facilities. Liftsize.Milk in cooling
Location: Close to shopping, beach, fishmine and cycle hire. Close to the tramstop for the Kusttram.
Having requested and paid for a deluxe double room we were surprised. The pictures on the site are misleading as you expect to get a room with a nice seating area and end up with a desk. We requested a double bed ang got twins. The whole hotel is non smoking but as Belgium is still very much a smoking country you have to enter the hotel through a smoke screen as the smokers stand in front of the entrance. The lift is very small and slow for a hotel of that size. It says to hold 6 but in reality it is only 2 if you have luggage and is very slow. The breakfast bar was a nice spread but the understaffed. The lady could not clear up fast enough to make tables available and keep the buffet going. Milk without cooling in rather warm conditions. For a hotel of that reputation you would expect a fridge and a safe in the rooms. There weren't any. The rooms were very clean all the time. Once we got over our first disappointment we had a nice stay there. But I am not sure we will be going there again.

The room stank, it was tiny and the shower curtain was growing mould up about a foot from the bottom. The floor had a strang matting which was the sorce of the smell, it was very dirty and wet. Breakfast was surprisingly good.
