Fantastic welcome from Lee, very knowledgeable and pointed out places to visit as well as recommending area to but local beer and mayo which the kids loved. Lovely Continental Breakfast, i usually dont eat it but it was very enjoyable. We were late checking out due to my oversight but the staff couldnt have been more accomodating. Will definitely revisit as the Hotel was great and we all fell in love witj the area and people.

Hi Andy, thank you for your review. Happy to read Lee was very welcoming. As mentioned - the mistake was probably due to the parking card being till 13:00. As I said, it was no problem at all - since the room wasn't needed immediately. We are very pleased that you loved your stay and will be returning. It was a very good location, the breakfast was very good, service was good, the only downside, but this seems to be all hotels in Oostende is no air conditioning for those hotter nights!

Very pleased
The hotel was very lovely looking, very very clean. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom too. The staff were kind and very helpful. There was buffet breakfast included and it was very good, with a lot of variety in foods. The location was amazing as well as it was very close by to a big park that had a Christmas market, and the city was beautiful. There were so many Christmas decorations and lights. A lot of parking spaces around the hotel, and parking was free during the night, therefore it was a bit of a problem finding any spaces near by but was manageable.

Good location
The hotel is well situated for everything. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was ok and bed comfortable and the bathroom was tiny, ok for a couple of days max. The cleaning in the room was not so good. If you moved side table etc there was dust and debris behind. I didn't have a sheet change in 4 days. Make sure you book parking as it is not onsite and very limited. We were lucky that they had a cancelation. Thank you to the managers for sorting that out for us. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not nice at all. Out of a machine is generally good, but this was awful. In summary good for couple of nights, eat breakfast elsewhere.

Good hotel
Really awesome stay. Location is central and close to all the shops at well as the beach. The owner is very friendly. Really nice breakfast too

Central Hotel Ostend
The hotel was perfect for our needs - right in the centre of Ostend. The Kursal Centre is only 1 minutes walk from the hotel As with all Belgian cities car parking can be very expensive ie 17 Euros a night under the hotel but the Receptionist directed us to a large free car park 10 minuites away.

The hotel was good and the person on the reception was helpful. The toilets are very small but manageable. The breakfast buffet was good and with many options. Extra payment for the city parking.

First time in Ostend. Upon getting to the hotel, the man working the desk gave me a map of the local area, told me good places to go, and suggestion for parking. Very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable by European standards. The location is perfect with a short walk to get to the beach and a short walk in the other direction to get to shops, restaurants and a beautiful park. The hotel staff was extraordinarily accommodating and kind. We had a situation where we had to rearrange rooms in the middle of our stay and they were very understanding. Also, there was a train strike the day that we had to leave for Brussels and they went above and beyond to make everything work for us. Highly recommend!

That was a pleasant stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.Excellent location. The room itself is a bit outdated but clean and comfortable ( it was a family one which consists of 2 separate rooms which is a big advantage if you are staying with kids)). I wouldn't mind to stay in this hotel again.

Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Room had no air conditioning or fans and it was warm and uncomfortable. Bathroom was exceptionally small (2 people did not fit at the same time). Large spider web/dust bunny? hanging above the bed. Staff was very helpful and friendly, definitely a positive as well as the location.

Great Hotel in Ostend
Arrived at 21:30 in the evening and was greeted by a very friendly and efficient receptionist... Rooms are very modern and clean. The breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to family or friends

good for the price but needs a little work
I was upgraded for free due to the off season which was nice. The main room light above the bed didn't work but I did ok with the lamps. The shower had almost no water pressure for the hot water but was fine with cold water. Not very nice when it's cold out and just want a nice hot shower. The heated bathroom floor was really nice though. One afternoon I had placed to "do not disturb" hanger on the door and the cleaning lady just walked in without knocking. I verified that the door hanger was still there and it was so I don't why she just walked in. Fixing the hot water and making sure all items in the room function (such as lights) and I'd give the stay a rating of 5. The staff was great at check in, check out and breakfast.

We arrived very early due to train schedule and were willing to just leave our bags, but they had a room ready and let us have it right away, which was great after a long flight and train ride. Very good breakfast, very helpful with information about the area and central location.

Great Hotel near everywhere
Having visited Oostend around 12 times before and stayed at some Hotels nearby I would say that this City partner Hotel is by far the best I have come across. Bedroom was spacious, breakfast had a good choice of food and on site lounge area was great value and very nicely presented. Minor details was the bathroom could do with being updated but overall that was not a problem.

A Pleasant Stay
The hotel is ideally is ideally situated in the centre of Ostend.We were disappointed that our rooms weren't ready on our arrival despite the time being well after the stated check-in time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms are on the small side but decently furnished. We stayed at the beginning of July when it was very hot but there were no fans in the room and the temperature was very uncomfortable at times especially when trying to sleep. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast although the lack of staff in the dining room meant some of the dishes took a long time to be replenished after they emptied by some guests who clearly hadn't eaten for a long time or who were stocking up for the day with little consideration for others. The bar had a wide selection of drinks and was surprisingly cheap compared to many bars and cafes in the area. Overall we had a very good time and I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Ideal for visiting the town, central to all amenities, and close to the beach. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, but no evening meals served, probably due to the preponderance of restaurants close by. Parking difficult unless you pay 22.50 Euros/day at nearby lot.

Three night stay
Very central, not far from station, no problems, helpful staff. Although they say Tea and Coffee facilities in every room they were not in ours but we did not require them so we did not bother to complain. Breakfast quite good, as well as usual continental cold food there was also hot bacon and either scrambled eggs or fried.
