Good Hotel Location But With Inappropriate Service

Travelled all d way from London to Zeeparel Hotel, Belgium and could not gain access to d hotel. No 24hours Staff/Receptionist to receive guests. Horrible! Had to find alternative hotel. Spoilt holiday.

For the price this hotel is decent. It's walking distance to the beach and the locals seem friendly. Reasons I rate it as a 2: Front desk closes at 6pm. We arrived around 830pm and we had to punch in a code on a safe and retrieve our key. I booked a room with a double bed but got two twin beds instead. The bathroom is the size of one you would see on an airplane. Walls are super thin so you can hear people go up and down the stairs. The TV in the room looked like it was from the early 80's... very tiny. I think about an 8" screen. The blankets were old and dirty looking. For the price we paid... well, even for the price we paid the quality was horrible. Only good thing about the area was a nice little Italian restaurant on the same street towards the beach next to a friterie. Pizza there are excellent. Would definitley go somewhere else next time.

Basic clean accomodation in the great location of Westende. Breakfasts were extra but highly recommended.
