Arrived into the valet around 6:30pm after driving up from San Diego. Building is unassuming and could be mistaken for an apartment complex - so keep your eyes peeled. Valet was very friendly and pleasant - $38/night for parking really isn't that bad when you start looking at the street parking signs - be safe and just go with the parking with in/out privileges. Front desk was pleasant, took just a few minutes to get the key. Room was amazing for the price - excellent lay out, beautiful bathroom. Our room had a fireplace, which was really neat - but I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. Probably just operator error but would be nice if there were instructions. The mattress was my least pleasant experience. Very springy and not comfortable. Check out was a breeze the next day and no wait for the valet to grab the car. Overall a very good stay and I would come again

"Great location. Wonderful experience. A pleasure"
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay end of August 2014. The hotel was beautifully located in a quiet back street and perfectly located in LA for our needs. The staff were attentive and friendly we felt really at home. We loved the rooftop decks and pool with the marvellous views. Really cannot recommend Petit Hermitage enough. The eclectic fit out of the hotel was a welcome relief from the usual cookie cutter hotel decor. It's definitely not the cheapest place in town but certainly the cost is more than offset by the quality and ambience of the place. We certainly had no regrets about our stay and shelling out the bit extra.
