Hotel was many great sites.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The location. There a great water park nearby.
Cons: A continental breakfast would be nice.
Location: The location was in a very desirable area. A walkway across the highway led to a shopping mall with stores, restaurants, and movie.
Hotel was close to a very nice shopping mall, biking, running, and walking trail. Staff were great. would stay there again. Room was clean. Some dining on site with many restaurants nearby.

Excellent stayPosted Aug 17, 2014
The staff was extremely curtious and helpful. Christopher at the front desk was very nice. The only negative I found was a little dirt in the bathtub. Other than that everything was nice.

Great hotel in a great location!Posted Aug 10, 2014
Location: Great location - right by Sandcastle water park and the Riverplex shopping area! Everything is right there!
A staff member let me borrow an android cell phone charger - overnight! Also, the convenience of being able to "carry-out" a pizza and glass of wine from the bistro to our room was priceless! Super comfy bed and Paul Mitchell hair product rounded it out nicely!

Super friendly staff and super clean room. This was the nicest hotel at this price point I've stayed in a long time. Desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The maintenance man we ran into in the elevator asked us how are stay was and if everything was working properly. Our room was comfortable and absolutely spotless. Had a nice view of the river and room was quiet. I would recommend this hotel if in the Pittsburgh area.

OK but less than I expected from a Courtyard....Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly and engaging...
Cons: Complementary Bfast like other Courtyards...Hotel needs to smell fresh...update rooms and interiors...
Location: The Waterfront is a great place to shop and enjoy...the Security at The Waterfront makes you feel safe in a town like Homestead, PA
The staff was exceptionally nice and engaging...the room smelled odd...the bathroom was never really cleaned completely..dirty cups were there over three days...most Courtyards have complementary breakfast and this did not...tv smaller than most...hallways and elevator smelled odd also...just OK...I will try the embassy suites next time and compare...not enough to make me absolutely stay there again...just ok...

Dear Tom, Thank you for taking the time to write. It is through your valuable feedback that we can monitor and improve our guest experience. My sincere apologies for the odor you experienced and disappointment in breakfast. The Courtyard has been redesigned to offer an a la carte breakfasts in a bistro-style concept in order to provide a wider range of options and healthier selections. I’m sorry that we did not provide you with the exceptional stay our guests have come to expect. I appreciate you acknowledging our convenient location and engaging associates. We hope you will give us another opportunity, when in the area again, to become your hotel of choice. Sincerely, Beth Neuschwander, GM

Nice Hotel, close to Waterfront amenitiesPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Convenient, modern, well equipped, free parking, comfortable rooms
Location: It is conveniently located close to the Waterfront shops, cinema, bars and restaurants, most within walking distance (watch out crossing the wide road
This was our second visit to the hotel, so that speaks for itself! Hotel seems popular, but is quiet and has good views of the river. Rooms have refrigerator, coffee machine, hair-dryer and iron. TV with many channels, good air-conditioning (needed in spring and autumn as well as summer) and a good sized bathroom. Restaurant has recently been remodelled as a Bistro. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
close to all my favorite places in pittsburghPosted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall a great stay; only thing that I think is worth mentioning is that the towels were really thin. Think it's time to replace them. a few were very thin.

Friendly staff - Great townPosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
We headed from DC to Pittsburgh for Memorial Day weekend and met up there with old friends from Cleveland. Pittsburgh is terrific -- nice museums, restaurants, parks and historic sites. Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott West Homestead was quite nice. The staff was as friendly and helpful as any we've ever encountered. The location was fine, about 15 minutes from downtown.
