Great location in TwickenhamPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The rooms were a decent size, and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: For the extortionate price asked for breakfast, I would have expected a better service, and certainly a much larger choice of foods.
A great welcome and painless reception at check in. The room was very clean and well turned out with no obvious damage. All staff were very friendly and willing to help or answer questions.

Hotel let down by terrible breakfast and servicePosted Jun 29, 2015
Cons: Service, breakfast, parking
Location: Rugby stadium, London, Richmond
Having stayed here before we were looking forward to another evening at the hotel. Although the room was good and the hotel is in good order, everything went down hill at breakfast. It was utter chaos and both the quality of food and service was very poor. Muffins dry, croissants over cooked, no plates, no bowls for cereal and I has to wait 20 minutes for a pot of coffee. Based on my experience I'd be reluctant to return as I expect better from the Marriot hotel group. Although the hotel seemed quite busy, I have no idea how they will cope when the rugby world cup will mean the hotel is likely to be fully booked.

Misleading 'Family Friendly Amenities'Posted May 26, 2015
I decided to pay a bit more and use this hotel due to the fact that it had an indoor pool advertised under your heading of 'Family Friendly Amenities'. Unfortunately, on arrival, I was advised that children can only use the pool between 2pm and 3.30pm on a Saturday and Sunday and on the Monday morning we left, only between 10am and 11.30am [after we'd be checking-out!]. To advertise this amenity as 'Family Friendly' is extremely misleading - the hotel explained that the hours are out of their control [Virgin Leisure] which is fair enough but this is borderline mis-selling and there should be a heavy caveat when advertising this facility as available to families.

Booked as said had pool but family time is so restricted we couldn't use it. Big con and a huge waste of money.

Nicely located hotel with crafty managementPosted Apr 10, 2015
Terrible experience with management . They refused to give us the room we booked saying rooms for this occupancy have finished. Offered us to buy an extra room for £90. Totally refused to accept that offer. And after 40 mins of arguments suddenly they found the room for our occupancy. Room had dust on every thing. Beds we're comfortable but looke it was not serviced for days. Dust even on cups. Room was spacious and staff greeted us very good whenever came face to face .

1st Time at a MarriottPosted Apr 9, 2015
Cons: Car Parking could be better sign posted but not a massive problem
Staff were very professional and welcoming. The option to use the Virgin swimming pool next door free of charge was a great bonus for the kids.
