Pros: Close to downtown Memphis.
Not sure when this hotel was built but it feels old. It smelled old and it is in need of renovation.

The hotel was not worth the price we paid for it. Our sink in our bathroom took all night to drain. Our towels had stains on them. Bed and pillows were comfortable though do that was a plus. When I pay $90, I just expect a cleaner place to stay.

Old and dirty

Hotel is showing its age and lack of maintenance. Very dirty, Needs a deep cleaning. Pub was closed due to one person calling in sick? No other place to eat. Not a value for what I received

80s with a bad smell

This place hasnt been updated since the 80s. The room felt old and dirty. If you have asthma or some other breathing problem don't stay here! I don't know if there is mold or if they converted smoking rooms to non-smoking, but the air is terrible in this hotel.

close to concert

Pros: room was clean and exterior was good.
Cons: Hire people with customer service skills
We arrived at 5pm and had to wait for a room when check in was supposed to be at 3. Bathroom sink was clogged. hotel staff were not friendly nor helpful at all and that was IF someone could be found. front desk didn't even have a bell or note saying where everybody was. grill/bar was closed when hours stated it should be open. Very disappointing when we arrived back from concert and wanted nightcap.

Online pictures are accurate in that they are of this hotel. They are not very recent pictures, as the condition is not what you would think from the pictures. There are nicer options in the area for the price we paid, but it was short notice and no time to plan ahead. Not saying that I wouldn't stay there again, but I would not want to pay as much and I would exhaust other options first. We had a bit of a problem with the condition of our room when checking in, but the staff was nice enough in moving us to another room which appeared to have been cleaned better.

Passing through

Hard to locate from highway. Staff and room were fine. Eat in resteraunt was woefully understaffed. Food was ok. Options lacking.

Over all poor

I chose this hotel due to the fact that it had a restaurant/bar. During my stay (4 days) at this the restaurant was only open once. Room service did not allow you to charge to the room nor accept credit cards. At check out I was refused a receipt since I booked on Hotels.com I was also refused a day refund for checking out one day early. -- Would not stay in this hotel again.

We were having a issue with our bar/restaurant staff which has been resolved. Also, per our arrangement with Hotels.com or any 3rd party booking agent, we are not allowed to give receipts to customers since we did not have your credit information. All 3rd party reservations are paid for with the 3rd party credit card. You will have to receive your receipt from Hotels.com. Quick trip

The halls smell a little like smoke but nothing overwhelming. I would stay there again.
