Not better than the Motel 6 down the street.Posted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I would not stay here again. My room (which was a non-smoking room) smelled like a smoking room, the carpet was filthy, the bed was not a full sized king, the bed sheets had holes in them, and the walls were paper thin. I did not feel safe and had difficulty sleeping due to the smell.

Red roof inn stayPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: close to southpark
Cons: everything, starting with a good cleaning.
Location: southpark casino, wafflehouse
Floor had not been vacuumed because there was cigarette ashes on the floor (smoking room) when I walked in. The heater knob was missing so on and off were the only options and couldn't even read settings as it was wore off. Marker all over the chair. No amenities at all!! no coffee in room, no hair dryer, nothing. Coffee in lobby in the morning complete with little 6 oz cups. Almost enough to wet your mouth. Couldn't get out quick enough.

Great for one night stay....Noisy house keepers!!!Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Hotel was 15 minutes from downtown Memphis and casino/gaming was across the street.
Cons: Housekeeping staff should consider the fact that hotel customers are still sleeping at 8am and that their issues are not important to the customers.
Location: Beale street, Southland gaming casing, were very close to hotel.
Great hotel next to Southland Gaming center which was in walking distance.... Bed was extremely uncomfortable but the front desk clerk did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Front desk clerk provided us with extra towels and sheets with no problem. Room was updated with flats screen tv and wi-fi access. Housekeeping was very rude the next morning with loud conversation; so forget about sleeping in until check-out because they have no respect for the customers..... Did not know that yelling from the second floor of a hotel was proper ediquite for hotel staff.

Adequate for a night or two. Worth the price. Not a resort so do not expect one.

Good for the price.Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: EZ on-off Interstate. Been staying there 8-10 yrs, and has always been acceptable.
Location: there is a casino across the street
We stay at this inn on most of our trips. Easy to get to, rooms have always been nice. Not the Hilton, but very acceptable for a nights stay.

Check in staff and cleanliness were very good, but 2x I needed ice, the first time there was a sign on the door explaing staff member had left the hotel and would be back in 15 min (gone longer of course) and the 2nd time when i returned to my room about 1am, I was told I should have gotten ice before 10pm, it is dangerous for the staff to open the door for you to get ice. I think they should either get an outside ice machine or learn better manners toward guest.

next to casinoPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nowhere did it mention it was next to a casino. We were just passing through and definitely did no want to stay across the street from where stumbling drunks were making their way to their cars and/or hotels. I did not feel safe leaving my car in the front of the hotel for fear of a drunk casino patron thinking it's funny to bust our windows and steal something because it happens to be the first car they stumble upon. We would have appreciated a warning so we could have looked elsewhere to stay.

Convenient to InterstatePosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: It was clean and allowed pets.
Cons: A better continental breakfast and minor repairs.
Location: There are plenty of fast food places in the immediate vicinity and a casino within walking distance.
The room was clean and met our needs. I stayed there with my family and our dog and did not have any major issues. The one problem with the room was in the shower. The hand hold bar where you put your wash cloth was broken off with nothing covering the holes it left. There was not much for a breakfast spread. I can not argue with the location (IE - proximity to the interstate). Overall we were happy with our accommodations there.

Very nice and comfyPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Very nice clean and neat
Cons: Not allow people in their pjs and undershirt and barefoot into breakfast area for seating....take food back to their rooms is ok
Location: Easy to find
We were VERY pleased with our room. All was clean and well appointed with plenty of extras such as towels and soaps. We will be sure to stay here again on any future trips this way. The only raised eyebrow was at breakfast when an entire family came down still in pjs and undershirts, hair uncombed and barefoot to eat. ( but that was not the hotels fault)
