“West Plains great value”

We arrived late and were greeted by name. Everything was as expected and ready. The front desk person was extremely helpful and friendly, which went a long way as we were tired. The room was clean and neat, if a little old. The kitchenette was small but nice, although it severely reduced the amount of bathroom counter space normally present. The mirror was too small and not enough light for applying makeup, etc. but overall the room was a great value for the money if you only need a place to sleep.

“Worn out mattresses despite a room change! Slept sideways on foot of bed.”

This would be a GREAT economical place to stay if they changed the mattresses. Staff were pleasant with request to change room, but the bed was still awful! However, on a diet I loved having the convenience of the refrig and micro in the room. Everything else about the property was fine. But does need updating.

“Pay more and stay somewhere else”

Hotel is isolated - parking lot in terrible condition - run down - unfriendly staff - no internet - a mile (or 2) drive to the closest restaurant. Just a dark and dingy place.
