Easy check in, room was ready on arrival. Room was fine - pool area was a bit tired looking but ok. Staff were very good & helpful - an enjoyable stay.

would not stay againPosted Jan 21, 2015 on Hotels.com
as a single female I was quite shocked to be put in a disabled room which I am not, which was on the ground floor with a fire escape door leading outside. this made me feel very uncomfortable staying in this room. also not help when closing the curtains, one side came off the curtain pole, so I have to prop the curtains closed using a chair which also helped to block the door leading outside to the bin area. WIFI was very unusable, and I have no mobile signal at all unless I stood in the car park which on a cold winter night was not always possible

Lovely HotelPosted Dec 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Business Trip - nice hotel, the bathroom was a bit tired, but it was clean and the staff were lovely. Nice location. Small but adequate gym, nice pool and sauna. Breakfast lovely and good choice available. Close to town centre with good shops etc Would recommend this hotel

Nice hotel and great staffPosted Oct 19, 2014
We wanted a nice hotel for a last minute getaway. Only stayed for one night but the room was very nice and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Would happily return.

nice quiet breakPosted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Nice and peaceful, very quiet on our visit.Had a pleasant dip in the pool.
Cons: Beds (Felt the springs in the mattress, could do with a padded headboard)
Location: went to nymans house and gardens
Had a nice quiet break at this hotel,we just stayed on a room basis,so we can't comment on the food ( although it did seem a bit pricey).

Delightful stay at Cisswood House HotelPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The pleasant Staff and comfortable room, not to forget the indulgent Spa treatment was the icing on the cake!
Location: Horsham a nice town nearby didn't really have to explore during my trip
I booked a two night Stay at Cisswood House Hotel during a business trip to Horsham. Although my stay was short I was very well looked after and I could attend my business in Horsham refreshed and energised.

Nice Hotel but slightly tiredPosted Aug 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel but slightly tired, good food but with Frank Sinartra playing in the back ground. Despite not many people being in the hotel that night, I was given a room at the very far end of the hotel which meant going down endless small corridors.

Over pricedPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: The Grounds
Cons: it is an old country house but needs some tlc and to be priced accordingly
This Hotel cannot justify £169 for 1 night stay no breakfast for a standard room especially when 1 The bath was so small if you was over 5'6 it would of been next to useless. 2 The paint on the window sill had worn away and original colour showing through. 3 The window catch was broken and held on by 1 screw. 4 The grout in the closet sorry "bathroom" had mildew in places 5 The mattress protector made is sound lick you was sleeping on crisp packets. 6 The toilet seat needed replacing. 7 The room had just enough space for the double bed and that was that . Will not be returning to this establishment again an anniversary to remember shall we say.

Cisswood HotelPosted Jul 28, 2014
The hotel overall despite needing updating was comfortable and met requirements, the breakfast however was beyond redemption, which is a shame given the food at lunch time albeit simple was nice and presented very well. Customer service and management of staff let rather a lot to be desired at breakfast (individual leaning on the wall is not what you would expect from a 4*) - neither was the serve yourself tea and coffee and physically get out of your seat to order something off the breakfast menu, but again lunch time staff were lovely as were the night staff, reception staff on the whole were willing to help, however on departure 27th July I was not even asked if my stay had been ok!!!
