booked because close to Gatwick

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: close to APH, easy to get to
Cons: pillows , lifts , doors,
Given the fact we'll all have suitcases why are the doors really heavy and opening in the wrong direction? Why are there no lifts ? Why are there endless stairs in the executive wing? yep even around corners? The Premier inn has closer parking not a rip off breakfast price and if you are using APH is only 10 mins further and the pillow menu exists! We have stayed here 3 times brfore - NO MORE

Interesting Hotel -

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: It wasn't like the normal run of the mill establishment. Very interesting nooks and crannies.
Cons: We didn't find a lift.
We only spent one night there but will certainly use it again in the future.

Lovely comfortable hotel

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Quaint and very comfortable
Cons: Heating controls and perhaps parking. Probably not enough for hotel capacity
Great looking and comfortable room albeit a bit cold. Couldn't get the heating working but we arrived too late to worry about complaining

Hotel convenient for airport but in rural location

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Nice room, nice location, helpful staff, good food in the carvery restaurant
Cons: Doors being closed loudly through the night by other guests presumably leaving for the airport.
Enjoyed the choice of restaurants but banging doors from people leaving the hotel throughout the night was a disappointment.

Pros: The convenience of the location, the bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: The attitude of the staff. They were functional but not friendly or welcoming
Stayed one night and left car for eight nights whilst I was away. Good value booking via Expedia

Quiet given closeness to airport

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Relaxed, plenty of staff, nice well-presented food. A busy hotel but didn't feel crowded.
Cons: Another armchair in the double room
Location: Good for many things in Surrey and Sussex - Brighton, the Downs, Wakehurst Place and Pooh Corner
Very pleasing stay, good breakfast and friendly staff

Lovely stay

Posted Mar 7, 2014
From the time we got to the hotel to the time we checked out, it was a wonderful experience. The decor of the hotel was very welcoming. the professional and wonderful staff members made there best efforts in making our stay more relaxed and convenient and even arranged all our transport. Would definitely visit the place again and recommend others to do so too
