Some staff friendly but bar staff rude & unhelpful. Building and facilities all very tired. Had to pay extra to use the pool and was initially told children can't use it afterr 4pm, yet check-in is From 4pm! Could not dine in as very limited seating. Breakfast selection was underwhelming: cooked breakfast, croissants & cereal okay. But tinned fruit. Dairy milk only. And the coffee was the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced.

This is the first hotel I have stayed in which is not cleaned every day. And I have travelled internationally. The hotel staff openly told me that they do not clean the rooms every day because they are only a "three star" hotel. In fact in five days there was never any cleaning service unless you strongly protest and request for it. The facility is overall old and run down with the shower in medival conditions and hot water limited. The hotel does not serve lunch. If you are flying from Gatwick and only staying overnight it is alright. More than two nights it is a pain.

Check out is 10 am unfortunately I slept through my alarm. Woke up to all lights on a cleaning lady and security man around the bad screaming and shouting at me. This was 10:40. 40 minutes and being treated like I had stolen something in a shop. Unacceptable behaviour from staff/ security over a simple mistake.

Poor hotel, when we arrived our room wasn’t done. The toilet door wouldn’t lock. The lift wasn’t working. Staff’s attitude was bordering hostile. The original room where they placed us was stinky. Not an experience we will repeat

Old dated buildings, in need of total refurbishment, lots of repairs needed. Soundproofing definitely needed, water system needs lagging as you can hear the water running through the building. Car parking not clearly marked, grounds maintenance is urgently required.

Very old and dated building, not enough sound proofing. Cracks in basin. Noisy water system, can hear everything from one bedroom to another. Grounds very cluttered, debris, garden maintenance needs attention. Car parking not clearly marked.

Quaint and cozy. Not updated, but totally suitable. WiFi didn’t work well for me and my US carrier didn’t work well either. Suggest bringing mobile charger. Food is decent and you can get a discount if you pay when you check in.

The Staff were polite and pleasant. Our initial room on entry was cold. Heating did not work thou it looked like it had just been renewed. On moving to another room the also didn't have heating but at least the room felt and appeared warmer. Not impressed

One night stay for a event. Hotel was good. However receptionist extremely rude and offensive on check out, just because she was asked to take a room key!! Isn’t that her job? Even refused to give her name!! I suggest a ‘customer service’ course would be a good idea?!

Our flight was cancelled at the last minute so had to book a hotel, after not eating all day we checked into this hotel only to find they stop serving food at 9:30pm!!! Why when this is supposed to be an Airport hotel, even the bar closed at 10:30pm, the breakfast the following morning was reasonable, on check out I found the reception member of staff very rude as I asked for an official receipt for my stay to claim back expenses, we certainly do not recommend this hotel

When the check-in clerk eventually acknowledged my presence she was anxious to save me time when registering my car and checked me in early, which was helpful as I was only popping in to say that we would be late! Our bathroom had an awful smell, likely to be a leak under the bath. One of our bedside lights did not work due to a missing pull cord...very inconvenient when wanting to relax with a book before sleeping.

It was a Saturday night and the property was very busy. I had to search for a parking place which I eventually found. The reception was undermanned and I had to queue for 15 mins plus. The room was fine.
