Thin WallsPosted Oct 5, 2011 on Hotels
On the whole I enjoyed staying at this hotel and it was very closely situated near the Festival Theatre; my aim in visiting Chichester. The room was OK, but the walls of my single room were very thin and I could clearly hear the movements and feel the floor vibrations from the neighbouring room; even hear the nocturnal "snores" of the occupant during the night, however, it is a "Georgian" building and I suppose to be expected !!

Suffolk House Hotel i centrum af chichesterPosted Sep 11, 2011 on Hotels

Low to average, but into the city with kind peoplePosted Jul 2, 2011 on Hotels
An old, rather decaying building, with rooms too small, yet clean sheets and friendly manager. At times very noisy due to luck of insulation. Good breakfast in a nice environment. Only 50 meters from the city center. No internet but the employes were willing to do internet search when I asked them to do it. In a nutshell, average and cheap when you want to be in Chichester for a short break. I would go again because it's so cheap.

DisappointedPosted May 10, 2011
The service was fine for the rate we paid, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was very large. However, it wasn't very clean, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed before we arrived, the carpet was old with lots of stains. The bathroom was very small with mould stains, and water from the shower spilled onto the bathroom floor. The window was open when we arrived but was very difficult to close and wasn't secure. The curtains were nice and thick but they didn't close properly due to bad fittings. Hotels appear to be expensive in Chichester, but I would recommend large chain hotel, just across town that is about the same price.

no frills but okPosted May 3, 2011 on Hotels
This is not a 5 star hotel, it is a little tired looking and needs a little TLC, however the price was ok and for us, using it as an overnighter for a wedding, it was fine. Lack of parking is a bit of a pain with £10 a day for the pay and display a littel walk round the corner. In summary dont expect too much and you wont be dissapointed, it is what it is
