Cosy getaway!Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Peace, beautiful views, cosy living room to relax in the evening. Also great location to explore Bronte country and further afield.
Had a really enjoyable 1 night stay here in March '15. Never felt so at home in a B&B or hotel thanks to the warm welcome and kind hospitality of Christa and Chris whose passion for the Bronte family is captivating.

What a wonderful find!Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The location, the decor and quality of accommodation in general. Fab breakfast and the lovely owner. Supper all round.
I couldn't have asked for more. A cup of tea and a quiet and beautifully designed lounge waiting for me after a busy day of meetings. The facilities are to the highest standard. Especially, pleased about my dietary needs being catered for. Thank you for a fab stay. Next time I'll be staying for longer.

Marvelous StayPosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
What a wonderful setting. Chris is a marvelous host who takes care of your every need. It is a very scenic location and perfect to use as a launch point for day hikes or a mornning run through the countryside. The Wi-Fi allows you to stay in touch even though you feel as though your surroundings are from another era. I would highly recommend the Brook House to anyone. It is a bit off the beaten path but that simply adds to its value. I generally don't say much about breakfast but breakfast at the Brook House is excellent.

Haven among the hills.Posted Jul 10, 2012
Pros: The scrumptious comfy bed. The little extra touches and the fabulous breakfasts
Location: In the country among hills and greenery but only a few minutes from the main road Like a secret retreat
We went to this wonderful accomadation by a pure fluke we were going to a reunion in Halifax. We had a most enjoyable stay nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend highly enough. We stayed in the cream room the bed and bath were to die for. I am so fussy about beds this is the best bed I have ever slept in believe me I am fussy and expect high standards. I was not dissapointed. The breakfasts were lovely plenty of choice and presented to a high standard. There were lots of thoughtful little touches from the nuts and sherry in the lounge to the sweets in the bedroom. Lots of nice smellies to use and thick white towels in the scrumptious bathroom. The host were very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to going back to this haven among the hills.
